mini split compressor noise when the compressor is going bad
Просмотров 5 тыс.Год назад
This is a Premium Levella (PIAW9169A_70B) mini split. It is about a year old and started being loud this summer. The noise when the heat pump was used in the winter was not noticed. UPDATE: This is the sound you hear when the compressor is about to go bad. It has now completely seized up and won't run. Fortunately, it is under warranty and I hopefully will be getting a replacement soon. UPDATE2...

Whirlpool Bravos XL Washer Wobble Experiments
Просмотров 11 тыс.3 года назад
Just another video of my washer (Maytag Bravos XL MVWB725BW0) and how it wobbles. I'm still not sure if my tub should be all the way down or not. Also, I've since cut the garden hose pieces down to just 1 inch. I found it can really cause the washer to dance and jump around when doing laundry at the 1.5 inch size.

Whirlpool Bravos XL Washer Wobbles at 400rpm
Просмотров 4,6 тыс.3 года назад
Why does my washer (Maytag Bravos XL MVWB725BW0) wobble at around 400rpm? It then stabilizes by 500rpms. I've replaced the suspension springs, the rotor position sensor, the shaft, and bearings. I did the rod and bearings twice thinking the first set might have been bad. It wouldn't be such a big deal except I can never complete the spin cycle (uL error code) and the clothes stay soaked.

EMF Elimination using a Dielectric Union

How installing a dielectric union reduced my EMF. I do not recommended doing this unless you know what you are doing; and this is most likely against your local electrical code.

Big thanks to LLOYD customer service. They sent a new complete outdoor unit. Problem fixed. It was a bad compressor. Not worth replacing just the compressor.

    Thank you for your video! I struggled to get a flow going even after re-inserting the filters multiple times. It seems like turning the supply valve on slowly, then the filter valve on slowly, letting it run a while, then opening both valves up fully really did the trick. I've gone through multiple filters with this system with no issues until the time before last. Maybe as one person responded, the new filters are somewhat shorter than they were engineered to be. In that case a washer placed under the filter might work. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks again!!

  • @harrylbonner
    @harrylbonner 3 месяца назад

    Thanks, but just to let you know on my model, I have read that there has been a failure regarding a filter defect. The filters are being reported to be shorter, causing them to be pushed down under pressure. Thus causing what you are experiencing. I have replaced mine 3 times and yesterday I started experiencing the same problem you are seeing. I have read that a fix is to put a rubber washer under the filter. The factory should replace your filter, they know there is a problem. Call em up! I have some rubber O-rings, think I will give it a try!

    I had this problem with mine and the way Got my washer to stop working. Is level my washer by fixing the problem with the hobble Legs on bottom. The only way I got it to stay level was taking the legs out and adding a locking nut to the leg and when putting the legs back in is level the washer with the level going across the top of tub not lid once level i used lock nut to tighten against the washer frame. also laid sum rubber matts on bottom of legs to help the shaking on floor. The legs on washer are the worst thing about the washer.

Our Maytag Bravo XL consistently failed with 14 minutes before completion (I believe right before the spinning occur, and the code is uL).
