First time back at BHF after 3 years. First shake down after the swap. Really happy how it all worked out. Best out there was a 1:28 but that's with still working the kinks and traffic. I can definitely see a low 1:20s

@@stagedracing8150 if someone wanted to compete whether auto crossing or road racing with the scca can a person use any vehicle they wanted or does it have to be a certain model of car? I know I saw a few cars in your video that a person wouldn’t typically think of racing with.

Awesome Video! DNFs never feel good but having your car survive does! Milwaukee scca chapter has some nationals podium finishers that come out to the events and offer ridealongs/coaching if you're ever northbound. One of them started out racing neons, he'd get a kick out of yours!

@@stagedracing8150 I'm just doing a straight overhaul on this and replacing that stupid freaking thrust bearing that's all that's wrong with this motor and you can't buy the bolts for it that's stupid add my local Chrysler dealer check there's a place in Kentucky that has one bolt 🙄 thanks for the info but I'm not doing like a hot rod motor or anything like what you're doing

I got all the rebuild stuff from modernperformance.com . I had good used OEM pistons and rods I used

Dont you want to top off the bleeder occasionally so air doesn't get into the reservoir?
The power bleeder is pressurized at all times when you start pumping it. You take the top off and it loses that psi that’s in it.
It's a trip how the Dodge neon SRT-4 was one of the fastest production vehicles for under $30,000

I like what you did to the carbon hood, different modification
It’s very functional, and I also did it to have the 2.4 turbo sit flush on the hood without having to do hood spacers.
