I think that all wonder weapons need a buff on BO6. Also Treyarch really needs to get rid of score streaks that make you invincible and deal high damage like the mangler injection, Chopper gunner ETC.... I think the line is like if you are using a sentry or Hand cannon ok you are still vulnerable but anything else like come on.

The mangler injection is in the game because you have to pay 2500 salvage every time you want to use it, the hand cannon and ice staff only need a 1 time purchase of the hand cannon.

Ok im going to be real here, I think that the hand cannon glitch was disguting and needed to be patched HOWEVER there should have been a compensation buff in order to have the Ice Staff fulfill the power fantasy that it deserves. Currently it feels weak as fuck and is honestly just disappointing, but I don't think that bugs belong anywhere in games, even if its as harmless as zombies. It could be a singleplayer game and I'll still have the same sentiment; but on the same note, Mutant Injection spam is boring and lame so I think that they could have 1. Added Double tap (who asked for Death Perception?), 2. Change how weapon falloff is calculated 3. Buff the Ice Staff.

Ain’t even that deep lol the energy mine turret strat with the ice staff is still faster then spamming the mutant injection the only reason you would use it is for a last resort which I’m fine with the idea of the mutant injection being used that way. What I think sucks is the fact that I wish the war machine could be used in this strat but because the mimics do the emp thing every time they shoot you it’s pointless lol. War machine could have actually made the game faster and have more risk then the injector since you aren’t invincible.

Treyarch are quick to fix bugs that are fun to use but the leaderboards that have been broken since s2 released they've gave zero comment or even acknowledged that they're working on it.

I haven’t really found the amalgam too annoying on this map I think it’s worse on Terminus or Citadelle tbh. The mimics are far more annoying to me with their awful grab attack and constant spam. If the Ice Staff did more damage to them to begin with it wouldn’t even be an issue. High rounds on this game are already stupidly easy with scorestreaks, the boss spam just makes me not want to play the map.

Maybe a little controversial statement here, it seems that the only part of the game you seem to care about is high rounds, that it, not the boss fights, not the ee steps, nothing at all besides high rounds, which I guess is fine in a way but it really sucks that the community that isn't going for round 1 billion every game is told their opinions are stupid bc it doesn't benefit high rounders, also If you hate the mangler injector so much don't use it, easy as that I don't and I do just fine

the ice staff isnt that bad to the point you need to glitch the game to get more damage out of it. you got enough ammo and time to charge up another shot right after, you literally can use the charge shot 3 times before reloading. 5:08 this is exactly why they patched it, so many were accustomed to a glitch that made them overpowered and consider it an “extra element” when its just a glitch and everyone knew it

i think you’re looking at this thru the perspective of a high round player, whereas 3arc likely made the change mostly to keep the challenge of the boss fight intact

This was to be expected and idk why people are shocked it got patched. Its good they removed it. At the and of the day no matter what its a bug and yes its always been with the staff but still. I'd say to fix mangaler injections they should have a set amount you can use per game like self revives have. The common player won't even get to round 100 so I'd say the staff is just fine without the bug. That's just my opinion

Ngl after the hand cannon patch i went back to CDM & that's been a blast on high rounds You don't have to deal with amalgams when you can one shot em with the lightning incantation

when you bring up the argument of the original Bo2 origins having the claymore strat, i find that to be such a laughable excuse, i'm sorry bro. The difference is so insane it's not even funny. For one, the claymore glitch should also be patched but it's a more modern strat and treyarch isn't gonna go back to their 2012 game to fix it. Second, the claymore strat just made the ice effect proc slightly faster, it didn't actually increase the damage afaik, and especially not to the degree of the glitch in bo6. In bo6 you would be doing 5x or even 10x the base damage of the staff, not counting the hand cannon doing damage more comparable to 100x. Keep in mind as well that this does not just affect high round strategies, you are not the only category of players. This glitch massively affected the boss fight as well, leading players to literally sit in a corner through the entire fight letting the charge shot kill everything instantly. This was a needed change.

Ah, yes, it makes sense when i take my hand canon out, and it buffs the ice staff, so wonderful they added this glitch i exploi- I mean mechanic. Yes, this mechanic, this very normal mechanic that kinda came out of nowhere in the game it makes so much sense to have when the ice staff is already easy to use very user-friendly 😀

This actually kinda reminded me of why I prefer BO3 Ascension over BO1 Ascension. BO1 Ascension round 100 is so easy but so tedious because you spend hours and hours just training zombies, racking up points with the MP5K, and taking them through the trap. BO3 Ascension at least has Gobblegums to just speed up the pace a little bit. Yes, they made a painfully easy map even easier, but at least it’s not excruciatingly slow and repetitive. It’s the same way how you can’t say the Deagle strat was game breaking when the mangler injection exists, so you mind as well keep it to make the gameplay have more variety.

So yourcomplsining about them romiving a glich that was used over and over again on repeat to get to high rounds, because now you jave to use an official game mechanic on repeat overabd over to get to high rounds? This is why roundbased fell off for me, its just repeating the same strat, all round, every round, until you get so bored, you lose focus and make a mistake. Yall love the repatition at times but hate it at other tomes?

For me, i don't really mind that they patched the Ice Staff like that because i feel it's no the intended way to use it. If you ask me, i would have liked better to have all the four staffs and nerf the mutant injector. Also, i'm still waiting for Double Tap 2.0. X,d why did they add Vulture's Aid out of all the perks?

Yeah I think hand cannon was way too op, but lethals should’ve been kept. A nice call back to the claymore too.

I wouldnt have as much of a problem with this change if the boss zombies did not grab you as much as they do.

I understand patching the hand cannon exploit, but i wish they toned down the special unit spam at the same time. especially on a map with two different enemy types that grab you.

these interesting mechanics is what makes zombies, zombies to me like all these little things and even the failsafes on the older games make the game so much more interesting to play and learn

I will say you can hit high rounds easily by using the energy mine turret and keeping 3 turrets (you can deploy more than one at a time and it melts specials) out at all times. It shreds specials and amalgams. Currently got a round 250 game saved where injections have been a last resort only. You don’t even need supercharged speed cola. Just energy mine on cooldown. No injections needed at all. That said… I found the tomahawk etc weird and found the way the said it in the patch notes a little condescending

I’m not surprised it was nerfed since a lot of bo2 origins techniques were removed in bo3 version ( claymore and getting g strikes much easier with charge shot and shield)

So help me understand. This video was meant to be a rant towards Treyarch's patch. Mind you, the majority of the players won't give a shit about it because they're all casuals. But then you go ahead and turn it into a rant about milo's criticisms of said patch. Why?

Sounds to me like any complaints about high rounds end up circling back to special zombies. atp just buff the staff and reduce the number of specials on the map at a time

The exploit fix issue is just a modern market gaming. That's why I enjoy older games in general with exploit even if I don't use them it gives more agency and variations. But now in days we have to patch things. Imagine if bo2 came out today and they patched the claymores? I would of it. I understand patching god mode gltichs or maybe a points glitch but nerfing things like this just makes the game more restrictions Edit: side note imo I think vanguard is second easyier than bo6 for the most part. That being said it's not big leap including bo4 classic being very easy on most maps

You can always just run pap 2 epic asg and put in zero effort with that and the ice staff. They should patch the beams going to the ground. Too easy just to lay down for 5 mins ice blasting every 5 secs.

i personally dont play this game enough to have even tried this glitch, nor do i use manglers.

5:25 Let's get this out of the way right now: there's a difference between a mechanic and a glitch. The Handcannon strat is a glitch at the end of the day and it was going to get patched in this new era

The glitch has been out since bo2 origins. It's an og glitch, and it's still in bo3. I remember doing it with the shield.
