sounds like a good advise, I've seen too many times in PU people bringing the wrong ship with wrong setup to a fight. As for the power setting, I still keep it like legacy FM, one button for each.

@ don’t understand the part of the legacy FM and the button. With 4.0 we can assign a button for the power delivery without doing it with the mouse on the MFD !?

@@TheCyberNomad88 for Engine, Shield and Weapon yes. So everytime I hop in a ship I manually set them to full by pressing buttons on my joystick

yes, the eye trackers imo is a must for hardcore PvP, TrackIR is the best I believe, don't get the Tobii if you wanna PvP, Tobii is good for SC in general just not PvP

@@damaddmann from what I’ve heard he’s a surgeon, I don’t think playing SC especially PvP is good for his fingers wrist s and arms when extremely stable hands are required for the job lol Don’t see him for a good while

I think you bought the F7C Hornet Mk II? Which is the one you can pledge in the store, the F7A is the military variant which you needed to earn ingame from the Xeno threat event. You can however, find someone with a F7A and mount the top turrent onto the F7C, buy you can't mount the nose turret, only a single weapon point, so you get a F7A minus 1 weapon. P.s. you need to unlock all ship ports and shields down to swap weapons.

@@3Eccho Yea I have the F7C and I did unlock the weapons. I did get a ball turret to mount to the top but I cant mount any guns and NO gun of any size with or with a gimbal will mount to the nose. When I bought the ship it had that storage thing on top and a single gun on the nose. When 4.0 came out there was nothing on the top and no gun on the nose. I tried to set it up with the same components I had the ship setup in 3.24.2, and I thought they removed this ability but I am seeing content creators that have guns mounted on top and the nose. Just a few of us I have seen it refuses to let us and of course zero help from support fixing it!

@@zacharypump5910 yep, higher damage application against a competent player. If opponent is intermediate level or below, then NDBs are better

Curves have to be linear, any curve for the axis will mess up your aim imo You can try using different saturation settings, I myself use default which is 1, but I think 0.8 or around will be pretty good, too

Ye lindls is a beast, I haven't played in a while busy life and all but he was top end competitive scene. Dat accuracy too

Basically it's knowing how strong the deceleration is and therefore knowing when to stop, if I go full speed in NAV mode I need to transition into SCM mode at around 2.5-3 km and start decelerating hard, that will put me right in front of the target ship. Pointing the nose away is just setting myself up for further chase, essentially I want my nose and enemy's nose to be pointing at the same direction so I don't get juke away when I merge.

I can totally understand your frustration, in the past a Hornet would never stand a chance against a Talon, I'd laugh at another player for just trying to pick a fight in his/her MK I for I know it will have trouble to land even a single shot on my Talon, Gladius or Arrow, hell even my Kartual, MK I was at a good spot because people use it for PVE purposes and it worked well, but then we have this incompetent flight model designer, you know who, messing up the whole thing. Thanks for noticing the things I tried to do in the video, I hope the fancy moves can still be relavent in the flight model.

The F7A is a ship people had to earn so it should be better then the ships you can buy outright or earn through spending a 1000 dollars. That my friend is pay to win. F7A is play to win

The mk2 isn’t a purchase. The token was a reward for doing limited time mission in game during xenothreat then you could apply said token to your f7c mk2 if you had it as a pledge like I did. Not pay to win you had to earn it.

​@@InfernalLegionHD2Yes you could earn the token upgrade in game by doing an annoyingly long and buggy set of missions, but you still have to buy the ship with real money to have it... And even now that the hornet mk II has been added to the shop, you can't use the token if you don't buy it with real money.... So there is no way you'll find a free to play player like me who only bought the starter pack own a mk IIA hornet.... Therefore, I call it pay to win

I am in Taiwan and was connecting to EU server, so naturally it's high ping.

High ping gives a combat advantage to the person with the highest ping. Thats why you see sweats playing on other region servers often

I use dual Virpil Constellation sticks with 50CM2 base, using soft spring with space cam. For the pedal it's TPR Rudder. Use the X and Y axis for pitch and yaw is my suggestion :P
