What a song! Story of my life! Was 15 small town boy dreaming to work in a farm and become a country boy. She was 16, homegrown country girl living in her parents farm but looking for an escape to the big city, dreaming to build her life there. That summer, I got a seasonal job with her father and at a party we shared that first kiss that marked the beginning of a story that would last more than two years. We also experienced all the first times together. Unfortunately, she turned 18 and when I graduated from agriculture, she graduated from business and the big city soon called for her, slowly killing the beautiful story. Never been happy in a big city then I let her go, even though deep down, I knew she was the woman of my life. I am 64 today, still living country but she's still part of my thoughts even though our paths have never crossed again.
