It should have had dedicated BRT lanes in the middle because it is halfway across this large body of water and would be even more important with BRT if the city plans to have a large BRT network and as large as Lagos is it should have a large BRT network and this should have been one of the key routes!!

First and second Niger Bridge were wrought by the Federal Government. The 11 States government of the SE and SS should construct a Third 3rd Niger Bridge using joint SS and SE development agency and Diaspora funding and a ratio of FDI ie DDI and FDI, create a Free Economic Zone or FTZ on the two corridors of the 2nd and 3rd Bridges on the Eastern flank. We should not just drive and sight see the bridge instead we should foresight the economic potentialities it brings to the twin State corridors. The Western flank on the first bridge as well with Asaba -Osha Cosmopolis should now enjoy a greater and foresighted economic power house off of the Inland dock and the Asaba International Airport as we expect the coming of Jesus Christ.
