Replaced fans, controller and splitter along with cable and uninstalled and reinstalled softwares. Ensure they are up to date drivers and un installed any potential software that could be interfering. It works when it want to and does its own thing when it want to haha
300zx, z32 ttop disassembly for new moldings
Просмотров 6 тыс.6 лет назад
in this video i sow the exact step by step procedure to disassembly the 90-99 nissan 300zx (z32) t-tops in order to reseal for leaks and or replace your worn out moldings or window seals. looks more difficult then it really is, once you see how it comes apart you will get a better idea for how all the parts interlock with one another.

the order in which the parts are removed from the throttle linkage on a z32 so that you can reference back while re installing. not perfect but when you have no other reference itll do the trick ;)

Great video and service to the community! I feel like i will benefit greatly from it, wanting to replace my trim pieces. Is there an assembly video as well? What about the rear hatch window trim replacement? Also, the center t-tops hook piece?
can do the center t-top trim piece in another video i have one to replace.
@@pro6580 That would be good! I need to replace pretty much every trim piece (except doors and rear quarters, which I did already). It appears I will need to engage a body shop, as I don't trust myself to replace the read hatch glass trim pieces...

Doing this to my 90TT next week. Nice video.
Thanks brother! And good deal. Having fresh trim with leak proof ttops is sweat!
Thank you!
No problem at all, Im glad it was of some help!
Could this method be used for z31 ttops?
I honestly have not had the opportunity to explore that, however I'm sure the process is quite similar if not the same

Anytime! Glad it could help
Thanks for posting that. Just what I was looking for.
No problem! Glad it could help
I ran a search on t-top leaks and found this. Great video and a tremendous help. One key question though - when you finally do get to the outside trim piece, why is it now garbage, and it cannot just be cleaned up and screws sealed with RTV? The trim pieces are very expensive. Can you not simply seal everything with RTV and re-assemble?
This is a great question. I am going to do just that. The screws are a weakpoint for water leaking. I will remove them.
Yes you certainly can. I replaced them as my customers prefer a new. They are expensive. I have also restored the OEM ones in re installed them no problem so long as they aren't dented or severely damaged. Cleaning everything up and properly sealing around the screw holes before re installing your refreshed trim pieces is perfectly fine and acceptable. =]
Thank you very much
Anytime homie! hope it helped.
yo my man...very in-depth video and super helpful.
yeah buddy! much appreciated my friend.
No problem! Def glad it could help
Are those na any fast
respectably yes but tuning an na is nothing compared to tuning a tt, youll get more for your money with a modded tt.
