And to this day, I never watched a video of Half-life: Alyx, except for the beginning, and never read a word from the plot, until i get the proper hardware (at a good price) to play it.

I just finished Half-Life 2 and both episodes for what seems like the 250th time, desperately trying not to give up hope that the story will someday continue and that I will still be alive to witness it.

I just beat it on GBA (not the HD version obviously) and I really don't get the ending. That one guy gets beamed up by Alien... and? so? What? Why? Are they best pals now? Isn't that technically an abduction? Why would Alien kidnap one of the guys who helped him off the planet? I'm disappointed. lol

When Alyx came out... I was surprised that the ending of episode 2 was not canon. I did not expect such a decision from Valve. Hopefully this will be explained in the next part.
