The Phillies could’ve had 10-11-12 up in that inning. Wouldn’t matter. As you said, Peterson didn’t get it done. This team has overachieved but when it counts; the offense is gone; or the bullpen can’t get a big out, or starter collapses when trusted. This was a terrible loss. No excuses here... Bullpen, Bullpen Management, not capitalizing on RISP, just a bad loss. I'm supporting the team, but this was inexcusable. Sometimes you have to pull things you never, ever do to get a W at this juncture. We should've won this game - Period. The Phil's are good & this was a game that was thrown away.
