If fishing over a decent bed of bait i leave it in for 2 hours on the lower severn most of my biggest barbel have been caught after bait been in for over an hour .....yellow and black 😅

Bloody hell ,blast from the past, that's my home town too lol, nettswell was my local ,back in the day, I was the bailiff on there for most of the nineties, used yo fish it most evenings, and some nights, had some big crucians, roach,rudd and some lovely old carp, did you get many stickleback,they were a pain in the 80s and 90s, lovely video, tight lines, good health and safe travels, cheers craig

Had lots of success on the upper Trent and Dove on garlic meat. put your cubes of meat in a plastic bag with garlic flakes and freeze it. Garlic is a great attractant.

Yellow and black, cool video, shame it's a pain in the arse to park anywhere near that stretch, my pb barbel from that stretch too, as for leaving feeders in, start off every 15-20 min with my mix softly squeezed in, then depending on reactions, I'll then squeeze mix in harder so I can keep rod out longer ,but still have a stream of scent in the swim, hope that helps, cool video, tight lines, good health and safe travels, cheers craig
