    used to fish this stretch alot as a kid when the barges were there. That spot used to be known for decent barbel. we'd fish off the platform to your left so there would always have to be a couple of us so 1 could run down the bottom of the bank to land the fish. Funny i watch darrens youtube channel and didnt realise this was linked till i scrolled through some of the vids. tight lines to you both

    Can I suggest a big speciwaggler instead? You will get away with a bit less lead than that massive float you have there. Give it plenty of feed too

    Don’t be so down, we don’t expect fish to leap onto the hook. This is the reality and far more relatable

    Its called fishing not catching, sometimes we don’t catch but we still fishing, it's not all about catching enjoy being out in nature and peace, you'll get a red letter day soon 😀
