That was the Ashby hide it blew down in a storm a few months ago,and your dragonfly from the Kingfisher hide was a Migrant hawker👍
Ahhhhhh I did wonder what happened to the hide !!! Ahhhh awesome thanks for letting me know about the Dragonfly! Not really up to speed with identifying them in any shape or form yet haha.
@@Ryanswildlifephotography Good video Ryan been there too about being down and getting out is a great tonic, Rye Meads is still quiet at the moment although they had Snipe at Drapers hide on Saturday👍
Hi Ryan. Because of this video I went to Rye Meads ate morning today. Was just about to leave the draper hide when the Kingfisher made an appearance. Absolutely beautiful day out.
Ahhhhhh amazing to hear Gary !!! Really is a fantastic location
Hi Ryan. i thought i reconised the place you where at in this video. have been there many times. will keep my eyes out for you. nice video and some reat images.
Thanks Gary !
Something special about the English countryside. Never been to east Anglia as like climbing and the place is too flat. But that sky is beautiful annd well down seeing the owls.
Oh yes the countryside is just fantastic and I totally get that if you're into your climbing, it's pretty flat here haha
Heya mate! Awesome to have you back and congratulations on your grandson! All the best 🤘
Thanks buddy, great to be back out :)
Great video Ryan, congrats on the birth of your grandchild 😊
Thanks Shaun !!!
Always great to be out and about, looking forward to your next drop.
Thanks mate and I totally agree, really felt good getting out today! Have some plans for some future trips :)
Hello . Very nice video . Thank you ! 🌞🌞
Thank you !
I certainly understand the burnout bit and taking a bit of time out Went to Rye Meads just last week for the first time in 3 years, its only 5 miles for me so should go more often. Was grey dark skies but good to be there again, it's such a well looked after and relaxing place to be. Great vid and congratulations on the grandkid.
Thanks !!! Yeah very similar I think Rye Meads is only about 11 miles from me yet I always end up going further afield haha, fantastic location along with Amwell as well, will probably go there soon as it's been awhile since I was last there.
@@Ryanswildlifephotography Panshanger Park is worth a look, though I have never seen the Osprey there. Plenty of other wildlife to see.
Good to see you back out there mate :)
Thanks buddy, great to be back out there !!!
@@Ryanswildlifephotography I'm looking forwards to it myself! The new Puppy and life/work has taken up far too much of my time of late!
Great video and some cracking shots 😊
Amazing video mate, one of my favourite ones of yours! Some cracking images as always mate
Thanks mate, really enjoyed this one !
Great video Ryan.
Thanks so much David!
Dude brilliant video! To get a pair of barn owls is incredible and to get a barn swallow sitting still, so cool. Brilliant one!
Thanks mate !!! Was blown away with both was such an amazing morning :)
Another great drop, you've barely scratched the surface of this reserve, if you go right out of the car park and over the River there's loads more, they have short eared owls visit in the Winter. Left from the car park there's a log pile with Little owls living in them. Come back in the Late Autumn and I'll meet up with you.
Thanks mate !!! Yeah lets do that for sure :)
Lovely video,, sorry to hear about the job , been there a couple of times myself. Important i think to keep busy the RSPB sounds like a good idea and keep up the photography even if you don't do videos, it'll help keep you focused. Excuse the pun as the old saying goes " if you want something done ask a busy person ". Good luck 👍
Thanks so much Peter !!! I agree as well, always good to keep busy.
Great nature reserves over that way Ryan 😉 great video mate 👍
Yeah I'm discovering more and more as I adventure out !!! Thanks Shaun
@Ryanswildlifephotography I walked here yesterday with my daughter, just binoculars and loved it 😊
@@shaungriffin1968 Ahhhhh amazing mate !! Glad you enjoyed it
Hahaha I agree on everything being a Pigeon lol 😂
Hahahahaha EVERY SINGLE TIME 😂😂😂
@@Ryanswildlifephotography I call my Wife the Pigeon spotter lol
Brilliant video i aint been here yet its on my list of places 👍
Thank you !!! Worth a visit for sure!
Great video this is a lovely place to go and combines well with wwt welney. The only small criticism I’d have of your videos is the music …I think your narration and the bird song is nicer on its own but good watch anyway.
Nice video. They also have a little bird pond with photo blind where you can take your own bird food for the small birds (they have signs on what types, usual sunflower hearts etc) which works really well.
Thanks !!! I'm planning to go back there soon as it's not too far, I check that out for sure.
This looks like a cracking location and its only 27 minutes from me according to Google Maps! I shall have to make a trip down there me thinks! Really sorry to hear about your job bud. I did wonder why you had not been around but there are times when life is bigger than RUclips! If you ever need anything mate, be it a friendly ear to chat to, or to meet up and go on a camera bimble, give me a shout and I'm here!
Ahhh thanks Mike, I really appreciate that mate means a lot! Yeah was a stunning location and in truth I only really covered around 40% of it in my visit. Will be aiming to go back for sure.
Awesome looking location! I hope everything goes well with your job situation ✌️🤘 great shots
Thanks mate !!! Much appreciated as always
Lovely video Ryan Minsmere looks beautiful. Great to see you enjoying and learning wildlife photography. Can't beat it. Looking forward to your next trip out👌
Thanks so much Jon !!! Glad you enjoyed it and I'm totally loving every second of it !!!
Nice video mate 👍 Is that the sun I see lol
Nice and so lovely video once again
Otmoor was always my go to place when I lived in Oxfordshire. Would see brown hares quite often there. Nice video 👍
Thanks !!!! Was a stunning reserve I will be going back for sure as its not too far away, I didn't see any hares on this occasion but in truth I was looking in trees half the time haha. Will keep an eye out next time!
Nice video
Thanks Sandip !
Some great sightings for this time of year and awesome shots of the cormoarants! Definitely a location worth taking another visit 😄
Thanks mate !!! Will be going back for sure :)
Awesome so lovely video
It used to be, 20 years ago.
Hey mate have you changed your vlogging camera?
No mate just had the mic in a dodgy position hahaha
@RyanDinnagephotography Oh I thought the footage looked better quality! Is it a pocket 3 or one of the action type cams?
@@JoeMaranophotography Ahhh thought you were on about the sound issues haha. Just a Go Pro 12 mate did change from 4k to 5.3k
@RyanDinnagephotography Looks good mate 👌
Great video mate and you're absolutely spot on, you don't always get the shots you want or spot the species you hoped to see. All part of this wild game. I've got a video coming out in a week or two where I have to share the exact same point because I got absolutely nothing during a 15K hike 🤣 Always next time right? 😅
Haha exactly that, theres always next time mate, although I don't fancy doing too many 15k hikes lol
It took me a long time to come to terms with the fact that "you don't always have a great photography days", so to speak but being out there is just if not more rewarding than getting that prize winning shot. Great video. 👍
Totally agree Peter! There are so many days where I used to go out and not have what I would call a "great" day with good pictures to show but I still enjoyed just being out! It's just one of those things that when it doesn't work I've learnt to enjoy those days just as much as when they do!
GREAT CONTENT BUT YOU NEED TO MOUNT THE MIC IN THE MIDDLE,IT SOUNDS OFF BALANCE:)
Thanks for stopping by and I totally agree !! Noticed it afterwards haha, so lesson learned :)
@@Ryanswildlifephotography Learning sooo much from you:)
Super video thats my local and this week 5 young kestrals fledged. Next time your over let me know be nice to meet up 👍
We where there about a week later, our first time and absolutely blown away. Got some good photos and will be planning another visit. You're keen getting there early but the light is beautiful. And not so many people 😅.
Hahaha yeah the first day I got there around midday and it was very busy which is why I opted for an early start the next day !!!
Another great video Ryan, so great to see you enjoying every step of the way round! I've only been to Minsmere once (September 2023) and it was magical! Going to hopefully try and get there again for a few days this Summer or potentially next Spring/Summer!
Thanks so much !!!! Oh that will be amazing if you can get down there this Summer, I want to try and visit again this year for sure.
Minsmere has to be my favourite reserve anywhere in the world - Great video Ryan, I must get back there this year 😀
Thanks Shaun and I can see why !!! Was a phenomenal reserve and I will be going back for sure.
Cracking video Ryan
Thanks so much !!!
I just clicked who you remind me of! Damon Hill! 😂 I'm watching from within a hide at Snettisham lol
🤣🤣🤣
Awesome video!! 😄
Thanks mate !!
Loved it, on my list now thank you. 😊
Thanks Shaun !! You'll love it, an amazing reserve
I was a volunteer at Fowlmere in the 90s!
Oh wow that's amazing !!!
Amazing video mate. I might have to venture out here this Saturday morning (If I can get my backside out of bed) as its only 40 minutes from me! Some great photos and also love your passion in this video.
Ahhhh mate thanks, it's a wonderful place for sure! There are sightings of a Great Reed Warbler here as well on the side that runs opposite the bridleway!! Also glad it showed!!! I wanted to change things up a bit and do a bit more talking, and then the passion just naturally showed haha, really happy with how it all turned out 😀
@@Ryanswildlifephotography To me, this is the best video work you have done to date! Watching this video makes me excited for a trip there, and only being 40 mins away, it may involve a couple of trips I feel!
@@mikestebbingsphotography Thanks mate that really means a lot! Defo going to continue this way, I enjoyed editing it a lot more too! Ahhh if you're going to turn it in to a couple of visits that will be awesome, there seems to be so much going on there at the minute!
