Worst list ever! You’re a 🤡
Great video Dan 👌🏻👊🏻
Idk why people hate Teddy, dude is a gem. Great content dan!
"Find out that you can depend on yourself", amazing insight on boxers
Rigondaux beat by Casimero🇵🇭
Great conversation! It's wonderful to hear the passion about these old-school greats. They paved the way for the next generation of fighters, not to mention all the adversity they went through. Although the sport has changed, we can still learn so much from their skill sets and styles.
damn boxing sucks lmao
great to hear Archie Moore mentioned and the old time greats
Two legit boxing historians
Man this video is solid gold 👌 💯 👏
I really enjoyed this chat. You got to chop it up with a living legend! Not many can hang talking boxing history with such depth. I def can't. Please keep content like this coming Dan! Sincerely a fan from Sydney Australia.
Unbelievable 🔥🔥
Any list that puts Hagler and Hopkins above Golovkin is bogus.GGG in his prime would have beaten both easily.
Such a legend
great talk Dan, Teddy is an absolute fountain of knowledge! thanks for putting this together!
Teddy is such a great in the history of boxing
Great vibe between these two!! Loved it. The knowledge is amazing. I did not know Knoxville was into boxing as much as this. Mate Charlie shared this with. Definitely hitting the subscribe.
Another great Italian boxer
Greb fought them all an more he truly was that man….
Also how exactly does the sponsor deal work? Is there a contract where it says they pay 2000 for you to put their logo on your shorts or do you just ask them in post for some amount based on what you spent for that fight or how high your expenses were?
Yeah but doesnt sometime the other guy have to pay you to fight him then?
Bivol got Speed and Power 🙂😎
The problem a lot of amateurs have is when they transition from the amateurs, they have developed a lot of bad habits that they can’t fix later on. AJ and Fury both drop their hands when they throw upper cuts which got both of them KO’d. All amateur clubs teach kids one style alone. They don’t care about bad habits. They just want national champions. Tyson wasn’t popular in the amateur ranks. He lost twice to Tillman despite outboxing him (knocking him out the ring in one fight) because they didn’t like his style and didn’t want him at the Olympics. It’s different in the US as they aren’t as rigid with styles in the amateurs but in the UK the amateur style is taught as a doctrine
After two years, just two comments and I'm really commenting on the other comment about this being a setup because it kinda makes sense.
Greatest middleweight boxer ever above Hagler, Monzon, and Robinson imo. Robinson was at his best at Welterweight, and other guys like Moore and maybe Langford were at their best at Light Heavyweight. Greb had Hagler and Monzon's durability. While Greb lacks power, he more than makes up for it with speed, agility and incredible footwork that might've rivaled that of Robinson and a work rate that rivals Armstrong and Harada. Greb took punches from Light Heavyweights and Heavyweights far more powerful than Hagler and Monzon, so I doubt those two can hurt Greb. An old Emile Griffith and Lightweight Roberto Duran went the distance with Monzon and Hagler. An old Greb easily beat prime Mickey Walker while a prime Greb was the only guy to beat Gene Tunney, one of the greatest Light Heavyweights. I think Greb beats Monzon and Hagler, each with mid-difficulty.
Cool video! The Soviet style of boxing was characterized by high technique, a strategic approach, and an emphasis on collective training. Boxers in the Soviet Union were trained in a system that combined elements of classical technique and modern training methods. Discipline, strict control of physical fitness, and psychological training were important points. Boxers were usually able to work effectively from a distance, using combinations of punches and dodges, which allowed them to better defend and counterattack. As a result, the Soviet style of boxing became known for its effectiveness and ability to adjust to the opponent. Yuri Ivantsiv's methodical manual “400 Boxing Combinations” is a valuable guide that allows you to improve your boxing technique by systematically studying and practicing various combinations. By studying the strength, speed and accuracy of punches, a boxer can significantly diversify his tactical methods in the ring. Combinations, presented in the book, help to develop not only technical skills, but also better coordination of movements, which helps to improve the overall combat training. Regular application of the described techniques in the training process helps to improve reaction and quick thinking in real fight conditions.
Still my favorite boxer of all time
He has the record and accolades and legacy, but id favor Salvador Sanchez over him in a head to head prime for prime match. Regardless, Pep an all time great legend
Spot on. Chavez, Duran, Robinson, Ali. I just think you have to put Hagler at best middleweight.
If you think ab it the fastest punches should be considered by the amount of force the boxer puts into every strike which is undoubtedly The Great Iron Mike Tyson.. becuz other boxers they just put like 50% on every punch so they can repeatedly hit faster but Mike really moves his hips with all the strength he able to generate in peekaboo style which makes his punches harder with the speed!.. this is the reason Iron Mike knocked out Giants with few heavy hits like a shotgun rather than like a machine gun striking constantly like other great boxers you see in the video.. (respect to all the Warriors stepped in the ring)
What a war🔥
Great fight 💪
Bert Sugar's 1984 book, "The 100 Greatest Boxers of All Time" has him at #3 , with Robinson at 1 and Armstrong at 2. Seems pretty fair to me. It's a shame there is no actual fight footage. It's not for a lack of technology, they had been filming fights since 1897, and by the early 1920's it was pretty common. Unless there was footage of him and it was lost or destroyed later.
One of my favorite fighters of all time.

Beterbiev is going to stop Bivol in round 10
His doctor sounds like an idiot. Nobody "tries to swallow their tongue", and nobody does. That's an old urban myth.
Great performance🥊
Yea, still boxing.
Where's cesar chavez and mike tyson
Smallest and weakest Heavyweight division in boxing history. Extremely overrated.
He IS an all-time great.
Mickey Walker’s draw with Jack Sharkey is a very impressive achievement…although not a great heavyweight, he was still very good and Walker hung in there with him and fought very close
Harry Wills was a great influence on a young Sugar Ray Robinson helping guide his amateur career as a trainer at Stillmans
Insightful!
Great content
Good list but some guys are bit too high
