That looked like great aim to me
My Guy!!!!!!
Do a test on the 1911 rock island 38 super
Its a good everyday gun.
Do you not know of a round was chambered? Stop watching john wick and get some training press check amateurs. Especially with your hand by the muzzle lol.
Davis st. 👍My home town range I've been going here since 1993 when i was 12 yo
Left my jacob grey to the mastery @ Kovert
My old rock island 1911 is the only gun I’ve EVER sold. Was such a jammer I just traded it in on a new gun. Was lucky to o get half my money back out of it lol.
Triggers are awesome. Have the M1911 A1 CS in 45….. flawless. Also the M1911 A2 FS Tact II…. 16 rounds of 10mm ….. flawless with brass, steel, aluminum….. awesome. That tail on the 45 double stack seems to be install upside down….
Rock Island is definitely worth it, but when Tisas entered the game that kind of put rock Island on the back burner
Love FT3, right there in Electric Avenue. I personally have the RIA TAC Ultra in 10mm for the camp site, G26 for the EDC. 9mm for the hoods, 10mm for the woods 😎
You hear this guy lol “I love my Rock island” 2 sentences later… “Had a lot of gun smithing done to it”
I've got nothing good to say about my Ria Pro ultra match hi-cap 9 except the long name (I had to look it up on the ria website to get it right)lol. It is an awesome straight shooter. Has zero recoil compared to my other 9"s.
Love my Citadel 45. Refinished it, swapped the front sight, and put some Recover Tactical grips on for the light rail. She's hefty but a hell of a shooter.
lol did take that crap off. All your buddy’s laugh at you
Yes for sure. I have a few. My favorite is my 10mm
God damn those are the gayest ears I've ever seen.
Don’t forget those Gay Ass groomed eyebrows 😆
Rock island is not a reliable gun at all the qc on these things are horrible my gun store don’t even sale them anymore.
How does Psa compare, if you know? I can't follow the bandwagon knowing just how easy it is to manipulate the budget market, but i mean if they are reputable then it's hard to say
There is The Defender also.
Philippine made are always way better than chinese temu 😂!
Confused about the big boy being self conscious wearing all the bracelets and why the other dude has massive holes in his ears.
Looks like he used his earlobes for target practice
Like he said he has a bunch of gunsmith work on it , if its that good wouldn’t you keep it stock
Try telling this to Glock guys lol. They'll go to the ends of God's green earth to change literally everything about it that makes it Glock, and then proclaim to the world how great glocks are lmao
My 19x is perfect i run it stock and has never let me down i believe in using irons
@@chrisegan2486 if you enjoy that spongy trigger, try literally any other firearm and you'll be blown away😂
Had 2, didn't last long, they wouldn't cycle hollow points
Rock Island 45 is equivalent to hi point dollar store junk
Yeah they are great after you do a bunch of work and switch out all their terrible quality controlled parts
Rock Island? Sorry... I can't get there. Give me Colt, Springfield, or to a lesser extent, Kimber. I served when the Colts and Springfields were still being issued to us, so my "bias" is with them, as well as the 92F (M9) that later replaced them. I'm not knocking the R.I., but... no thank you. 🙂
Wow unbelievable a Glock fan boy giving a presentation on 1911s and has no clue about them .UNBELIEVABLE
Glock and sig fanboys are the worst’s kind of people for the gun community,, they are like a woke liberal democrat that worships at the alter of the dnc but they worship at the alter of glock and sig,,, u can’t talk to them about any other gun,, and hell I’ve got a couple of glocks myself but I love all different types and makes of guns,
There ok but there arrival is Metro arms both are made in the Philippines
I EDC a 23 mos currently but I’ve carried 43xmos ,26,19mos,19x,17 idk whichi like best it just depends on the weather.
4:21 Jesus fucking Christ 😂
Hate how Cali doesn’t have a commander with rail. So I got the RIA MS and went straight to the gun smith. Had a rail Novak sights installed all other modern features added and cerakoted. With it.
Nothing wrong with Springfield… I have an operator TRP, EMP 3” and the hellcat pro… love them and not one issue with them. I got rid of my Glock after numerous issues.
I had a citadel great fucking gun
Are those eyebrows tattooed on?
This guy is aroused
Your issue on last 2 were you limp racked it. Then it failed to feed 😂
Got two Rock Island 1911 pistols, the 5-inch "Rock Standard" that fell off roster a few years ago and the 3.5" CS, both have been pretty great for me and the only issues I have experienced were failures to feed on the last round and it was always with the Act-Mags that came with the guns. When I use Mec-Gars, Wilsons, and even KCI there are no problems. When people buy these things I think they are expecting them to run like a modern polymer pistol that requires only a drop of oil every couple hundred rounds, no, these are all metal, entry level, budget pistols. What that means is that they like to be run wet and they are a little rough around the edges and you will need to not be intimidated with completely taking them apart and spending some time smoothening out all the small parts on them a bit. There are plenty of online video guides showing how to fix every little problem with 1911 pistols but the key things are properly tuning the extractor and polishing the rails, feed ramp and barrel throat/ceiling, all those things are very easy to do and don't cost but a few bucks on Flitz polish and some of your time to rub it in and cycle the slide for a few minutes.
spot on!
Officer is 3.5 inch and Commander is 4.25 in. My experience with RIA has been very positive. I did have a 10mm Ultra MS (commander) that had a weak plunger spring. The safety would move relatively easy. This kept me from carrying it concealed and would cause the slide to lock open with rounds still in the mag. Ordered WC part and am going to switch it out. That should fix both issues.
New subscriber. Love the knowledge and the back and forth dialogue. I'm burnt out on the gun tubers with their sped up shooting vids like Garand Thumb, who is a shill. If y'all start shilling for SDI, I'm out. Love that SOLGW rig. Radian is overpriced and overrated hype beast. Not familiar with Lantac.
Yes. My personal opinion on Rock Island. 💯 as far as my 3 that i own. VR80 shotgun, both tac ultra fshc 45acp and 10mm. ( 0 ) issues with all three. I run the piss out of them. Especially the VR80 shotgun. I would have to say from my point of view. Rock Island is a..... 💪 SOLID 💪 firearm
Third world production gets 3rd world quality. These are made by kids overseas. The owners should be ashamed of such a terrible product being offered to the U.S. P.s. their sponsors are not qualified marksman of any sort as you can see in the video.
no they are not lol... I have been to there factory in the Ph. also they have US factory in Utah, Nevada and Montana..
You may want to try a lighter bullet on that compact/officer's size 1911. The lighter bullets go up the magazine faster and that could correct timing issues. Also, the more you shoot them, the more they smoothen out.
Before I bought an RIA 3.5 CS I saw a Wilson Combat video where they said the smaller the .45 1911 pistol is, the lighter and faster the bullets should be. I have been firing 185gr range and defensive ammo out of mine and it loves the stuff
Homies pistol didn't run right because you took the light off which affects how the Springs work which I'm sure he took into account the flashlight when choosing Springs
I have a Colt Wiley Clapp and no issues. I had a RIA 10mm and traded it in. RIA look good but not so reliable.
My springfield ultra compact v10 used to have same issue with feeding, even after polishing makes you not want to trust them
In a word? Yes. I have a gi model that's had things done to it that would make John Moses browning weep. And it still runs perfect. NEVER had a jam.
Yo man, you represent a gun store and you're talking out of your ass on these guns. Everyone has to start somewhere but you could have googled some shit before you began filming the video.
Info seemed good to me. Can you enlighten us on what they missed?
@@EagleLyfer The "1911 double stack" is a 2011.
@@phoenixskeptic7698for people that know anything about guns, 2011 typically denotes a 9mm in the 1911ish format. It looks as those the Rock Island is a double stack 45acp, which would not make it known as a 2011.
@@EagleLyfer I personally refer to both 1911 .45 double stacks and 1911 9mm doubles as 2011 because I'm not sure there is an industry standard label. Yet. And I think that because one of the manufacturers has a patent on the 2011 nomenclature which I think has been causing these type issues.
@@EagleLyfer2011 denotes a specific split frame with grip module design. The original patent is held by SVI (strayer voight Infinity) and staccato (formerly STI) and it outlines this. The split frame design is what seperates it from a para ordnance style full frame double stack 1911. The RIA FS HC is a para ordnance style double stack 1911 as it doesnt have the split frame and grip module. Most 2011s are double stack but single stack 2011s have existed since the beginning of the 2011 platform in the 80s and up till recently staccato had a single stack 2011 cs series. Caliber has no effect on denotation, the original 2011s were all 45 ACP and 38 super and the original magazine tube design is has dimension based around the 45 acp/38 super. Recently bul armory and staccato have made gen 2 styled mags that are based around 9mm dimensions but for decades all 2011 mags were using tubes made for 45 acp/38 super that would then be dimpled and pressed in so that 9mm would feed out of it.
Put the BCM sopmod stock on mine! I feel VKTR put some shit furniture on these for the price. Running the 13.5 with a Lazarus 6 can. I do like the raptor charging handle and the trigger.
It sucks that there’s no 4” 1911’s in 9mm in CA
Great idea, but horrible video recording. We would also like to see what you are talking about.
Glocks are for "NO BRAINER USERS", Kinda like guns for dummies, 1911s are for refines individuals who can appreciate a well made and well thought out design that has been battle proven in several wars. In the hands of an experienced shooter who is well versed and trained in its use and shot placement vs spraying (a large capacity magazine bullets) at the gamble of a hit., which you should be well trained and versed in the weapon you rely your life in., if you want capacity, get a well made sub gun. Your side arm is for shot placement, if you want capacity, a sub gun is more practical, useful , accurate, ultilizimg stocks to for accuracy on shot placement and magazine capacity
