Finally got to drive the new G2 track that was opened last year. There seem to be a lot of complaints about lack of runoff from people who drove it which I'm struggling to see here lol, there's plenty IMO. Overall I enjoy the track a lot

I'm curious about your opinion on the E46 M3 vs the 992 GT3 or other modern Porsches you've driven. Do you like the hydraulic steering feel on the e46 more?
@@Datmeega the E46 steering felt a bit over boosted but good feedback still but GT3 definitely have better steering feel
I really think a lot of people just have the experience of like their 1 favorite car and then never want to try anything else and just sit on ''nah new cars suck. My EK on coilovers is the best.'' I've been born into japanese stuff and yet I can't find a reason to hate on modern small block powered coupes. The performance is there now, and there's no reason not to try out something putting down 1.0+ g's in the corners with >400hp. People need to get over the import vs muscle discussion and start looking at performance objectively

With a full interior, how is the comp weight 3225lbs? I've got a C7 GS full gutted, no side windows, only stock dash remaining and my comp weight is higher than that. Maybe 3225 without driver?

Ok I figured, these C7's are tough to get under 3000lbs! Definitely hold onto more weight than a C6. Love the car though!
Not a full interior, but yes 3225 is a ballpark with no driver. Comp weight is actually 3401. Tan just needed to look at the sticker on the door jamb 😂
@dparm1984 lol that's a good weight though. I bet that cars great in TT3! Full gutted and my big ass in the car and fuel I'm at 3300lbs comp weight which is still heavy for a full gutted car. These C7's hide weight so well lol
did rear end feel numb at all? for exmaple did rear end ever slide out and you could not really tell exactly how much slide you got?

B58’s are no joke.
How good are the engines holding up so far?
@@k6-3spetznazhelmet I worked at BMW for 4 years and never saw anything wrong with the B58 except a bearing recall on a small batch of them for a month. The only thing to worry about is heat soak… they definitely need cooling as any turbo motor does in an on-track use situation. Otherwise they are great engines.
@@k6-3spetznazhelmet also, you should look up an old video by papadakis racing where he tears down the engine and talks about it. Dude is known for building insane Supras.

Man alive that GT4 losing it in Ricochet made my butt cheeks clinch. I've lost two motorcyclists there, one a friend in front of my eyes! But you did yourself proud, but doesn't this model come with rear wheel steering? You can't feel the rear because it's behind the wheels LOL ("Best engineered bad car design in the world"). I'm more interested in brake pedal feel??? I had Jack's son as my "Coach" for DrivExotic in the GT3 911 BUT the pedal was like an "e-pedal" or load-cell Fanatec brake pedal, no felt brake depression, but more I push, more it brakes??? I'm curious how much you HATED your S2000 after this Hahahahaha
@@CrazyLikeOne I can’t feel the rear is because of the very awkward driving position that I was in. Not really the rear steer. The rear steer did feel very natural. And brake pedal is great.
@@tantaiki1316yeah I’m twice your size LOL and position was BOLT UPRIGHT! I would’ve changed that if it were mine! But I’m glad brake pedal felt normal, I’m guessing it was possibly at end of life or ceramic composite??? Was yours with upgraded ceramic brakes or not? You hit fairly high speeds, I did a test session in Radical SR10, similar speeds as yours were! Great job!

The walls on this course make my skin crawl but kudos on a solid layout
Looks like fun! Seems to be pretty smooth. People complaining about 'lack of runoff' must be referring to the walls along the sides of track in a few areas. I did notice some of the ends of concrete barriers and guardrails could use some kind of soft barrier, maybe, water or sand filled barrels, hay bales, or tires. I wonder if hay bales along the walls would offer any protection?
I am very interested in the specifics of this build. Where can I go to see more about it? horsepower, supporting mods, etc?

Thinking about getting one myself but not sure what model to get. I hear the newer ones have overheating issues if you record inside the car so was curious to see if you have any experience related to that.

Oh damn, my bad, I completely forgot about the ASC button, lol... I'm eliminating it once I get the M50 manifold installed. I still want to play some more with the suspension as I want a little bit more rotation on low speed corners. I feel it pushes to much. As it sits, the car did 213whp on the dyno and weighs in a hefty 3100 without driver. For those curious, the car only has: Fortune 500 coilovers with 11K front springs and 13K rear springs BW Stage 1 clutch Refreshed OEM LSD with 3 clutches rear camber arms. Racing Dynamics Swaybars About -3.8 f camber and -2.6 r camber 9lives Wing Max Velocity Evo II front splitter
