Hi! I painted with acrylics on canvas and added outlines and fine details using a normal metallic gold Sharpie. I’m a bit confused-will this work for my painting without the Sharpie bleeding? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'm hoping you will respond to my comment. I found your video after just painting a ceramic vase from dollar tree, and realizing I should probably protect it since the acrylic is water based. I used the Royal Langnickel acrylic markers that I found at walmart (my walmart poscas weren't the right colors). Any idea/experience using the spray in a similar situation? I don't want to ruin the cute little vase...

I do the same about taking notes about a particular event. 11 months later, it's nice to glance at and recall.

Oil paints will work under acrylic, but you have let them cure. This could take upwards of a week. They can cure faster under a heat gun or blow dryer. Over acrylic is where they really shine. They tend to desaturated acrylic pigments. I use this in miniture painting to achieve a "grim dark" astatic.

Does anyone have a color chart of paints to use to refill the markers?

i only want to do a small black pattern on the nose of my board and i’ve already got wax and a traction pad on it. do you HAVE to clearcoat? i just don’t want the board to have a different sheen level on the nose and i want to keep the saturn kind of shein that is currently on it

Based on your experience, how close is vendor parking to your booth normally? I'm a metal sculptor and I'm looking to get into in person sales. The issue is that my sculptures are on the larger size, so I'd only be able to display a few sculptures without over crowding my booth. Ideally if one sells, I'd go to my trailer to grab another and replace it. I've also heard the higher end shows have employees that can watch your booth at any time which would be nice for getting another piece. Metal isn't cheap so my prices are "high" so I'd need to be at higher end shows anyways.

Hey mate so i have done a big snapped board repair job. I have got the board ready for the filler coat. Before adding the filler coat am i correct in saying i can draw a design with posca pens before applying?

So this would work with plastic right (assuming im using plastic safe spray paint)

Hello, I'm decorating a ceiling medallion and I've spray painted the base. I've used acrylic paint and also some alcohol and oil based paint markers. Would this work to seal and protect?

Hi Welzie, I make wood lamp shades and wood lamp bases. As an experiment, I tried coloring a base with sharpie acrylic markers and after it was dry I sprayed it with rustoleum clear gloss 2x. The black marker ran a little over the next color, which caused a problem. I scraped it with a razor blade and it created a little divert and this was difficult to sand and not scratch the finish next to it. Coloring the divert and matching the area was difficult. Any suggestions?

hi there! thank you for this video! What would you recommend using after engraving on cast acrylic and then filling the engraving with acrylic markers? please keep in mind that the protective layer that comes on the acrylic sheet is still in tact, except for where it was engraved.

I bought these same paint markers and click shut (as hard as I can) everyone dried out in a month, I can hear it’s full, what do I do? I really hate them and the waist of money. Please help
