Seems to me this is about the staff wanting to "get home earlier". After all, the stated results of the new policy are that release and pick up time for drivers has been reduced. I mean, what's the big deal?? The Staff wants to get home by 5?? These "administrators" have obviously got control issues and have created an atmosphere where parents have been made to feel oppressed. And any educated person should know, you don't oppress Americans and get their cooperation. ESPECIALLY not Texans. NEGOTIATE! DISCUSS! BE CORDIAL! ASK for an Americans cooperation and you'll likely get it. FORCE them by threat and you'll get push back....hard. Any Texan SHOULD know this. Especially one with with an education. I hope this matter has been resolved and that principle and superintendent have lost their jobs. That is absolutely a parents right to walk their kids to and from school.

I grew up in Houston, but currently living in MI. I'm shocked this is going on in TX, and will make a point to tell everyone I know to look out for programs like this in MI schools.

The lessons are not fully vented through a checks and balances process to eliminate plagiarism, political slant or inaccurate content. TESCCC, who owns CSCOPE,petitioned the Attorney General of Texas to be exempt from public scrutiny. What do that have to hide?
