LifeLine Church
Великобритания
Добавлен 6 дек 2020
LifeLine Church is a vibrant church family based in Dagenham, East London. We've discovered that once you’ve touched the heart of the One who loves us unconditionally - who sacrificed everything to restore His relationship with us - then you can’t help but to love others. This affects everything we do - the way we relate to each other, the way we serve our community and also means we get involved in influencing the way the local and national systems which govern us work. It's also why our focus is always developmental (Psalm 84 v5-6).
You are very welcome to join us via livestream every Sunday morning at 10:30am, or if you're in the area, we'd love to meet you in person. We meet at Mayfield School (Pedley Road entrance), Dagenham RM8 1XE.

Episode 15 - Acts 12
Do you trust me?
This chapter covers Peter's imprisonment by Herod, and subsequent miraculous escape; his return to the believers (and their unbelief at who they were seeing); and Herod meets his end.
In this talk we're challenged to think about:
Who or what we rely on
Our unbelief (what do we struggle to believe?)
Who we exalt (is it ourselves, our ideas, friends, family, God....?)

Will you use your powers for good? God sends encouragers - those who perceive what God is up to, get excited and get on board with what He's doing. They are really key people in His Kingdom! The Greek word for encouragement is much richer and deeper than the English version. It encompasses two aspects: -To be close beside -To call, point or direct How are we encouragers? Acts 9 is where Saul has a revelation! Jesus saw his heart - saw that having studied God's word, he wanted to do the right thing. There was a struggle between his heart and his mind - he was caught in religion. Jesus doesn't focus on our mistakes - he focusses on our hearts. "Promo sm" 😘
Wow I also believe that we should reflect on WHY we are holding on to things. Is it because of anger or jealousy whatever it maybe and pray to Jesus to remove that from us. Because only then we can learn and understand. Why and what happened, truly forgive in that moment and move on with God's plan for us 🙌
I can really relate to the Prodigal Son story. As i have felt lost and far away. But our Father with all his love and patience. Never give up on me. He waited for me to come home. Im thankful for his love and Family he has given me today. May his love continue through us by spreading his words and storys. 🙏
Amen!
I am thankful to God for making us all different. so we can all see things in a different light and explain in different ways that everyone can understand.
✋ Question - was the temple destroyed because Solomon didn't construct it for the love of God. He just thought it was something he had to do as his father before wanted it ?

✋ Question - if Solomon was king wouldn't he already have power and wealth. So why would God give him more? Also did Solomon use God's gift of wisdom for the good of God and not for his own image. As Solomon is remembered as a wise king not a faithful wise king ?

✋ Question - If Solomon truly thought what he was doing was right and God was still blessing him. How would Solomon know what he is doing is wrong? Is this why he asked God for wisdom. So he now knows what is right and wrong. Through god's gift of wisdom?
Thanks for the great questions! We'll pick this one up, along with others in our 'Reflections on Kings' series which runs in tandem with this series
🤚 Question - did Adonijah know that Solomon would be angry with him. To the point of haveing him killed. Could this have been both Adonijah and God's plan to test Solomon and this was the start of Solomon's downfall?
Thanks for the great questions! We'll pick this one up, along with others in our 'Reflections on Kings' series which runs in tandem with this series
🤚 Question - why did Adonijah assume that he would be king? Was this why God leaded David to choose Solomon. As Adonijah thoughts where coming from a a place greed and power ?

Greetings church from New Zealand. I noticed this video had no views, so I decided to watch and be your first viewer. Anyway, the audio is very very low and not audible without holding the phone speaker up to my ears. I persisted this way, and decided to leave you this comment, especially as the message I heard from your preacher is such an important one! Hopefully you can get this remedied for your next upload. Blessings and peace be with you all from a sister in Christ with His love!❤🙂
Thanks for letting us know :)
