Richard Deacon’s fascination with the colorful shaping of surfaces has led him in recent years to think sculpture essentially from the surface. As a result, his sculptures become more like something painterly, images that hang on the wall, lie flat on the floor, or rest upright on pillars or stand on small wall pedestals like family photos.

On display in the gallery’s Corner Space is a work by Fred Sandback, which was originally conceived in 1999. "Untitled (Sculptural Study, Broken Triangle, Lannan Foundation, Santa Fe)" is a corner-specific artwork composed of two intersecting triangles, taking advantage of the room’s four corners to form an isosceles-like shape leaning into the space’s depth.

Hello, hope you see this haha. First of all great video! I wanted to ask how was it possible to go and visit the foundation because I emailed twice and I got no reply. I am interested in going since I’m a student who is going a paper on mrs Horn and live nearby but the information about the place online seems little. So I thought I would ask you as a last ditch effort :p

Wow to see Deacon work with color
It's good to see sculptors represented and promoted amongst a sea of painters. As well sculpture made from other than refuse.
I started to walk as a google map guide and then began to make art in situ which came from a land art re-connect the effort hill climbing became a mystic experience and an internal-external fight, the artworks photos illustrations became cathartic.
