Clarky Racing was the name of my motocross team from 1994 till 2009. I mainly ran Suzuki from the RM65, RM85, RM125 and finally the RMZ250. My eldest son was the only sponsored rider who rode with the likes of Carl Nunn and other British championship riders. My other 2 riders were my daughter who with her younger brother both became good riders in their own rights. Finally when all 3 were old enough we had the 4 stroke 250's which they all loved because the power band was instantly available. Unable to keep up with the financial cost of racing motocross and sponsors finished which is where I returned to road bikes which was where I started from. My eldest son moved to St. Helen's with his family, my daughter had my granddaughter and my youngest son is an accomplished 'Street' BMX rider. I moved away and I'm now semi-retired and enjoy riding and building road bikes.
