Tecsee Budget Switch Buying Guide | Ft. Purple Panda, Carrot, Ruby, and Sapphire Switches
Todays video is a short buying guide for all of Tecsee's main Tactile and Linear switches.
As Tecsee is fairly new on the scene, I wanted to make a simple introduction video for the brand, as their fleet of switches have essentially become the best way to get Extended pole stems for Frankenswitches, and are quickly becoming the best alternative to the many more expensive community favorite switches.
The Switches in the video are broken down into two pairs:
1. Purple Panda and Carrot Switches (most budget and most popular)
2. Ruby and Sapphire Switches (newer, lighter, and slightly less budget)
I also added 2 typing test clips from other content creators near the end of the video as I wasn't...

Crimson Cream Linear Switches | Frankenswitch Ep.2
Просмотров 2,2 тыс.3 года назад
Hey everyone! For the 2nd episode of our Frankenswitch segment, I decided to experiment with Linear switches, and I set out to make something interesting and unique, with a focus on clacky-ness and a sharp, dramatic bottom out. Linears have never been a favorite of mine, but I was determined to make something I could really enjoy and use for everyday typing. For this Frankenswitch, I took the b...
Minterly Studios' Desk Mat Review! (KAT Eternal)
Просмотров 3853 года назад
Hey everyone! This is a short desk mat review of Minterly's desk mat that was orignally designed to match the KAT ETERNAL keyset. Normally, I do more mid-to-long-form content, focusing on keyboard build videos and switch reviews, however, since it will be at least another week until one of my main videos releases, I figured I'd review the KAT ETERNAL desk mat designed by MINTERLY. The official ...
O-Ring Mount Modding a KeyboardBelle 3D Printed Keyboard! (Build and tutorial)
Просмотров 5 тыс.3 года назад
Hey everyone! This video is a short build and tutorial video, where we use o-rings on the left and right standoff screws to create a sort of DIY burger mount. This mod adds both flex and a cushioning effect when typing. We used a KeyboardBelle 3D printed case, a standard GH60 pcb, and glorious panda switches spring swapped down to 56g for a lighter feel. The channel "Keybored" originally made t...

Holy Oreos! | Frankenswitch Ep. 1
Просмотров 1,7 тыс.3 года назад
On the first episode of the "Frankswitch" series, we are talking about a pretty interesting switch combination- Using the housing of the Everglide Oreo and a Halo stem, or stems from Glorious, or Drop Panda switches. This is a very basic stem-swap modification to the Everglide Oreo switches, but it produces MAJOR changes to how the switch works, its total travel distance, and its sound profile....
TKC Banana Split Desk Mat Review!

On Reddit (R/MK) there has been a lot of talk about quality control surrounding The Key Dot Co's products. I wanted to do this quick review just in case anyone wanted to buy one of these TKCxC3 fruit series Mats, but had not seen their quality as of recently. Enjoy! Next video will be a long form review of the Everglide Oreo switches, including some interesting Frankenswitch recipes.
Taro Ball Switch Review! (JWK Tactile)
Просмотров 11 тыс.3 года назад
(Full typing test: ruclips.net/video/p5YnkLaiLH8/видео.html) I recently got my Taro Ball tactile switches from Cannon Keys and was excited to make an overview/review/comparison video for them, so here it is!! It's my first switch overview/review, so I hope I did a fairly decent job here. I feel like I had some issues capturing the true sound of the key presses, and I'm no switch engineer, but, ...

Great video but i'm not sure if anyone's mentioned this, but the taro switch in your board was not bottoming out due to keycap interference of a north facing switch and cherry profile keycap, especially on the row u were demonstrating with. the panda switches were fine because of their long stem, hence a much shorter travel and earlier bottom out.

the purples are 25$ for an entire board, so I guess that would be technically "mid", but compared to many switches (40-70$) for a board, thats budget enough for me to feel comfortable calling them budget : p

@@zeonic_keys6375 haha, well, for me, I've been buying switches like jwick and ktt that are around 10-15$ for 100pcs, so that's really where my definition of budget comes from. Jwicks are like the budget line from jwk, after lube, they are quite smooth, I'd say around 80% of jwk for 1/3 to 1/4 the price.
