Hey bring the season 4 duck back and the chicken
E we hat weight class is it
The only bot Emulsifier will not be able to destroy immediately.
pls bring back DUCK! im begging u
its my favourite bot and I watched battlebots for so long because of it
im the kid who made a duck lego battlebot and u sent the DUCK! stickers to me
u could bring back the old lifting weapon or adapt DUCK! with a horizontal or vertical
You're back! 🥳
Very cool, do you plan on taking this to an NHRL event by chance?
Yes, the debut will be at NHRL later this year. Hopefully September or October depending on when I can register.
is it true?? active aero on 30-pounders?! downforce!?! all the more reason to make people enthusiastic for competitions like NHRL
seems very similar to perfect phoenix?
Are you going to compete at NHRL?
That's the plan.
@@hrucker008 Awesome! Looking forward to it
NGL I'm starting to like lighter weight combat robotics and am VERY happy to see team DUCK! get out there. Where will you be competing?
What weight class is that?
30 pound
A weapon most fowl.
But can it selfright? This is a great design but with flippers and powerfull verts sending you into the air. its a matter of when not if, that your bot doesnt land on its tires. I feel you are shooting yourself in the foot if you dont design a bot that can selfright/can function inverted
There aren't many powerful flippers in the 30lb category... Those that are there are usually demonstration bots like Booster. Flamethrowers and verticals will be the big threat for Chicken.
It can't self right easily, but it can drive upside down.
Some unreal design and machining right there.
NICE!!!! Need to see it on TV!
HOLY CRAP I WANNA CRY DUCK IS FINALLY BACK BUT AS CHICKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks great! Can it self right (just wondering)?
It can't easily self right, but it can drive upside down with the weapon off. We need to practice ways to get it to self right...
Damn! I have been waiting so long for some team to implement that suction technology into a bot. This is so interresting. People does not know how profesional this robot is designed and produced!
"People does not know how profesional this robot is designed and produced!" Uhhhh, we.... literally can see it.
GOOSE next plz
This is spectacular! I love everything about this bot and this video.
okay this is awesome. I can't wait to watch this compete!
Finally someone uses a vacuum. How much suction does it have and would a rubbery skirt make a difference?
The downforce feature has tradeoffs: more force = more battery capacity = more weight and space inside the bot. I arrived at about 15 pounds downforce with the largest batteries I could fit into the design.
Yes, I've added a silicone rubber foam skirt.
Well that's exciting!!! CHICKEN ATTAAAAAAAAAAAACK!! ruclips.net/video/miomuSGoPzI/видео.htmlsi=fD1On_XegCXldEXA
You posted!!!
Might need forks but that’s impressive
What's next? Turkey? The robot looks great!
GOOSE!
This is awesome! What's the amp draw?
There are 3 systems. Drive (4S) is low... about 10 amps. Suction (6S) is high... about 70 amps. The weapon (12S) varies a lot depending on what the motor is doing. I think it peaks at about 110 amps.
@@duckthebattlebot3545 Yeah I know that suction systems like that can be pretty high, thanks
Mine lifted a Biteforce without the upgrade
Hexbug Biteforce
Hal, I know it's a long shot, but do you still send these out?
Go back to the old ducks design please
Hey Hal, I'd like to purchase a set of parts to get Duck! lifting some robots. Let me know how tonproceed if you have them available. Thanks and Happy New Year! Ps: do you have plans to bring Duck! back to the battle box?
QUACK
Lets go Duck!
I miss Duck! this season. I hope you bring something new for next season, or maybe bring back one version of Duck! for some exhibition matches or something.
They retired😢
Rip :(
Really helpful stuff, thanks for sharing! I especially like your custom cable strain relief/joint securing mechanism.
Are y’all still doing the duck mod thing for people
Thanks for this. My Dad and I (42 & 67) discovered Battlebots years ago and Duck has ALWAYS been our favorite. He refuses to watch when we get together until he gets his Duck! shirt on. Got him an arena set and, of course, Duck… we play with it more than the kids. He’ll love that he gets to “mod your bot.” Love from Pennsylvania!
Are you still doing this?
I just want to say first off, big fan of your bot. One of my favorites of the entire Battlebots series. Thank you so much for posting this video about the assembly. Now that I got that out of the way, I need to say this to you (only because I want to see you go far). This new lifter is not working out. I prefer Duck with the Titanium plate, which made you more of a force to be reckoned with. I understand that you're trying to evolve your bot into the new generation, but you know the old saying, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." If you come back next season (and I hope you do), I hope you bring back the Titanium plate as the primary weapon.
Do you still sell these? please let me know

Could you please explain how you remove the pin on Hexbug Duck! ? I have been trying to remove this pin for over an hour now and all I’ve done is loosen it. I can push on the back of it and little bit of the pin sticks out. I’ve been using needle nose pliers to try and pull, yank, crank, or maybe even accidentally break the pin. Any help?
Please explain how you are removing the pin. I am struggling to remove this!
Pull it out carefully with a pair of needle nose pliers. Better yet, push the pin out from the other side using another pin with a slightly smaller diameter.
Hopefully you can get the issue of your lifter being not very durable sorted.
Duck shoulduve used those wedges on the front like in the concept art it would have really helped them in there fight against dragon slayer
hi do you still sending the parts?
Hello are you still sending out the screw and plastic cube to modify the hexbug duck?
Sorry, we are no longer sending out the spring and block. Please contact HEXBUG if your toy is not lifting as it should. They assured me the new version, which they produced over a year ago, lifts as well as our hack.
Sad to hear the retirement
