When I climbed the Matterhorn I hated helicopters full of tourists shooting pictures near the top.

Helicopters in the Alps should be used for air work, search and rescue and nothing else. If you like the mountains, go climb a rock or hike.

Was on the beach in n.j. and had an urge to climb.caught a flight to the alps.forgot to change still had my bathing suit and flip flops on.it didn't stop me.bought boots and a sweat shirt. I actually ran to the base of the matterhorn, then began to hop up which was even faster. I was half way up, and started to get cold..Good thing I had an energy drink,and some almonds.. Took 2 hours but finally got to the top..windy.. made a parachute out of my handkerchief, and got back down pretty fast.flew back to New Jersey and back on beach. It was ok..
