Rescue 42 Stabilization Training for AFD
I do sincerely apologize for the poor quality of the audio towards the middle to the end of the video. As I was filming we were so close to finishing the video that we felt even the pouring rain could not stop us but little did I know that it would over power the audio. But for the most part you can hear everything and the portion of the video that was filmed in the rain is meant for visualization. This video just covers some basic vehicle stabilization techniques using the Rescue 42s. Like always stay safe and get out there and train!

3:50 Hi Bro!
I notice that you do not employ a shut off valve in the line. As a rule our brigade always fit a shut off valve in the line in case you need to add more lengths after the line is charged.
Unscrew that nozzle tip and you could throw as much 1.75" on that ball valve as you want
I saw the standpipe valve, a gate valve right after the standpipe valve (before the pressure gauge) and then a break-apart tip on the nozzle, so there are three ways they could stop the flow of water to extend the line.
Great video!
🙏🏿
Not sure where you guys are from but your high-rise pack demonstration and explanation was done very well! Thanks for posting! Be safe and have a Merry Christmas!
❤️thanks
Well done LT!
