    Before the cleaning begins I always use a product called "CLR". That stands for Calcium, Lime, Rust. It removes all lime and water calcium deposits. Wonderful stuff. Then go ahead and deep clean the metal.

    Hard to believe this video is almost 4 years old! As I mentioned, this was used when I bought it. Now it's time to buy a new faucet as it is starting to leak. Any recommendations? I need a similar style as the taller ones will not fit with my window ledge that sits above the sink. Please reply if you have a good recommendation. Thanks! Jeff

      Jeff Burckhard, I recommend the Flow Faucet by Bio Bidet. It’s a SS touch-less faucet that has great features. We’ve had ours for approximately 1.5 years. Replaced the batteries for the first time a couple of months ago. We liked it so much that we bought one as a Christmas gift for our #2 Daughter. We got ours on sale for around $100.00. The regular price at Home Depot is $229.00 - $269.00, but as I mentioned they do go on sale. It has almost 5K reviews, with close to a 5 star rating!

    I wanted to provide a quick update on the cleaning process I am using. I have had this Keurig for around 2 years and it operates like new. I switch the water filters immediately when the Keurig notice comes up on the device. I have gone with after market filters purchased from Amazon. Also, I originally used the descaler from Keurig, but after doing some research decided to use white vinegar. The biggest issue I have now is my wife is using flavored coffee in the Keurig. I hate flavored coffee! I basically have to clean it and run it with hot water before using it. So, I find myself doing poor overs and French press. when I don't have time to clean it :-)

  • @jburckhard
    @jburckhard 5 лет назад

    Just a quick follow up on how my Keurig is going 2 years after I got it. The K Cup broke but other than that everything continue to operate like when I bought it. I have replaced the water filters regularly when the Keurig notice shows up. I did buy after market versions off of Amazon. Also, I originally used the descaler from Keurig, but after doing some research, I started using some white vinegar to clean it out. Costco has these on sale again this Christmas so if you are ready to buy one there are some good deals on Amazon and Costco. Merry Christmas!

    My husband and I purchased a Keurig 525cPlus machine the other day and works great with the K-pods, but we tried the K-cup and the settings automatically went to the carafe setting, so we called the customer service number , and now they are sending us out a new one, but now we will have to wait 7 business days. So hopefully the new one will be better, but we will see. My sister has a Keurig 545 Plus and it works great with k-pods,k-cups and also the carafe.

    I bought this mower earlier this year in April as well. I put it into service in our lawn care business (as I couldn't afford a fully commercial push mower yet.) I have been thoroughly impressed with it. Would gladly buy another one. EASY setup right out of the box. Starts first time every pull. sharpened blades once and changed the oil. Will see how it does in the long run. Great video sir.

    Well the spool they gave me to start out with only did it one time around my .25 acre property. I bought a replacement spool at the same time I bought the weedeater. Putting it on it was extremely difficult. I don't necessarily think this is a design issue with this company but a design issue overall with these kinds of line feeders. I finally got it going but was not very fun

    Same sink, when changing out the faucet, I scrubbed it with barkeepers friend, then used Wrights Silver Crème .... it brought it to a Mirror Shine.... Now I'm going to it all over again, starting with that sanding sponge... to get out some minor scratches first....

    • @bobbrock4221
      @bobbrock4221 2 года назад

      @@thekellers5041 I found that you need to scrub with the grain of the metal. You have to be very careful because bkf will damage your sink if you let it sit too long. For the hard water stains I've been using CLR. You let it sit for around 20 seconds or so similar to bkf. It can also damage if you leave on too long and don't wash right.

    • @jburckhard

      The sound is the pressure of the water going through the K cup. mine drips a little but then stops. Normally, when the indicator on the screen says it should be stopped.

      Hello, without a lot of detail on your situation, you might try baking soda first as a non-toxic option. Baking soda is pretty versatile. Take a small amount, add a little water, use a small brush or Brillo pad on the metal. If you are just on the metal, should not impact the plastic.

      Thanks for the question. I used the Weiman polish a few times: The first was after I rinsed with the water and before I used the 3M sanding block (I may have sped up the video too much during this part). The second was not filmed--after I installed the sink I used the polish one additional time. Thanks for taking time to watch the video.
