Every single new home I have seen , no matter the price, looks exactly the same. It appears one architectural drawing was used. The open concept is no longer desirable. In this development why not add townhome styles for those of us who are interested in downsizing? Put into a lake making a more country club atmosphere.

I liked a lot of things in this home, but in the front room with the long word piece with the TV on it, not a fan of that finish, would need to get that sanded and stained and finished.. I loved the wood work in the kitchen.. would like the see the same for this cabinet in the living room..

@@SethKoppel_NewHomes grey cabinets, backsplash is hideous, no double oven, grey carpet...why is there carpet anywhere? Tile in Bathroom is ugly, penny tile is a floor tile and there's no character.
Nice home. I'm from the area, but this is worth nowhere near $858K for a 3-bedroom or even a 4-bedroom. At this price, there should be a retaining wall in the backyard at the very least. Minimal lights in the garage and no water filtration system. These builders just keep building smaller and raising the costs, cutting corners left and right. I guarantee the material used was cheap OSB, not premium ZIP or Advantech sheathing. At these current rates who wants to pay over $7k a month on a mortgage and still be left with having to fork out thousands to do work. Good presentation and nice home but something like this should be no more than low to upper $500k. Prices have gotten out of control and I forsee another bursting bubble in the future if we don't reel it back in.

@ThraX_86 actually the payment is a lot more affordable than you are thinking. Around $5800/mo on today's rates, all in. Add the cost of the land and septic, multiple garages, and those cost per foot increases do make sense. You will not find Central Texas homes being built at $100-150/ft
@@MattySchep 😂You are just proving my point about how prices have gotten out of control, leading to another foreseen bubble bursting. In what world is $5800 a month affordable? You may want to do a little more research on the micro and macroeconomics of the United States so that you better understand where the majority of society sits financially. Additionally, to get that $5800 a month, you have to pay the 20% down (est. $171,000), which we all know everyone has that sitting around to blow (sarcasm being used here in case you were unsure). Then, if the person financed it out to the typical 30 years, they will likely spend another $830K+ in interest for the life of the loan. So again, this is very unaffordable and not economically friendly when you are looking at spending over $1,690,000 during the life of the loan. Even if you made bi-weekly payments to cut down interest, you are still paying over $650K in interest during the life of the loan. I'm sorry, but your mentality of affordability and trying to convince society that this is affordable is wrong. All you are doing is trying to persuade individuals who are too ignorant to understand the math that they can afford something like this all to see them default 2 years down the road, thus contributing to our economic slump. @@ThraX_86 I can fully understand your perception. I simply stated the home was more affordable than what you mentioned, as your payment was at the very top end. A custom home on over an acre and 3000+ square feet is not intended to be the affordability for the normal buyer. An average home price in the Austin Metro is $475k, half this price point. I would say your macroeconomics conversation is skewed toward the lack of affordability at the lower end of the economy. A family of 4 making the average Austin wage would be looking at the average home ownership. Even a $3500 payment on little down($475k price) requires two income homeowners to produce about $55k per year, per earner. Austin's average income is $70k/yr per earner. I agree the lower income and poverty levels are not able to afford anything in Austin and their focus should be on sustainability, affordability and mass transit.

So, I'm looking to buy as near as Georgetown as possible. It would help me if you would include a couple of things that I never really hear about in your videos…… Are all the services, water sewer etc. connected to the County? Also, something very important to me is entertainment (satellite, cable, and availability of high-speed Internet via fiber). You never really touch on this stuff. Thank you

Beautiful home….but what a horrible view in the back yard. I would feel totally creeped out knowing those people in the two story homes could look right out their windows and see what’s going on in my back yard or on my back porch. I couldn’t do it.

@@jorgesmith2000 personally it looks very cold that's just my opinion. I like Black and Gold maybe mixed in with decor, and not too cold modern. I prefer modern Barn house style, preferably darker woods

Lampasas is too far from Austin for commute. The nearest city is Killeen, but there is plenty of open land around there.
