Oar Extension Adapters for a Scout Inflatables Boat. When using the Oar Extensions on a Scout, the oar is raised at the stern to where the paddle is higher than the pontoon, an annoying position. I tested out two ideas for my Scout 365 inflatable boat. One is to put a 1" pvc pipe length of the boat just under the inflatable floor, to create a shallow V hull.
