That word yeshua means "salvation/deliverance" and is a common Hebrew word right? Whenever someone comes to me with a special calender that they are dividing the body with….the first thing I ask them is how long they have been learning the Biblical Hebrew language. There have been EXACTLY zero ppl making special calendars that I have met personally in comment sections or with social media followings who actually humbled them self to FULLY learn the language before proclaiming their special Calendar revelation over the people. Called the planetary week. The word planetary comes from the Greek word planetes. Planetes (planet in English) means "to wander (from the correct path)". The root word of planetes is PLANAO. Planao means "to deceive, alter, lead astray, error". Etmologicly, the planetary week means to wander from the correct path, deceived, led to by error, gone astray. If Yeshua is our perfect example, and he kept the sabbath with the Jews in the synagogue, then that's good enough for me. Besides, you can have a new calendar every year, but it doesn't throw off the sabbath, we don't suddenly all forget what # day it was prior, during, or after the calendar change.

No 1st century sources for the lunar sabbath? Lies! Thanks for the heads-up. I know people who view the new moon sabbaths as a great epiphany for the modern age. Satan's hooks come in a thousand forms just like the enforcement of Sunday sacredness when Christ condemned all tyranny on the night of the Last Supper (Luke 22:25,26). First of all there in not any calendar in scripture that has anything to do with the moon, not a sabbath based on the moon or a month based on the moon either! Although there is historical evidence and I believe that the temple keepers of the first century kept a sighted lunar start of the month, that alone does not prove that the calendar in Torah is a sighted moon month start. We know that the Temple regarding the priesthood was corrupted by the Hasmoneans and we know that the Zadok priests were ousted - that’s why John the Baptist was not in the temple but in the wilderness crying out to repent! There is so much more to this than meets the eye and that Michael Rude or Nehemiah Gordon is making of it.
