Fury - a Story of Brotherhood and Duty
Incredibly powerful scene from one of my favorite films, "Fury" - an underrated masterpiece.
A beautiful and gritty war movie about the dangerous life of the exceptionally brave American tank crews. This film details themes such as duty, brotherhood, courage, faith, morality, and regret.

Riding the CA Pacific Coast Highway on my 2016 Triumph Rocket 3 Roadster

My buddy and I rode 2200 miles from Salt Lake City to the California coast and back again to complete a bucket list experience of motorcycling thru San Francisco, Monterrey, Los Angeles, and various other CA coastal cities. The highlight of the trip by far was riding the Pacific Coast Highway. It was cold, overcast, and foggy at parts which only added mystery and magic to the entire experience ...

Honda Interstate - updated review. Still in love?
When i was teenager couldnt relate to other people, even more so in case of girls. Now fifty in few days time. And far happier than my married friends. Some of them looked extremely sorry for themselves.Ok.I lied. All of them. They all have that old ,tired, disease stricken,sorry-for-yourself,end of life looks in their eyes.Like stray dog with only last request in their eyes: please put me out of my misery. Some even verbalise it. If it wasnt too much effort on my part,i should have searched for all old friends(male and female), and thank them for teaching me at young age: be interested in hobbies, environment. Not in your fellow man/woman.Only result is tears
This was his first leading role and he won the Oscar for best actor.
"lonliness"....whats that? not in my vocabulary.
I really could relate to this scene. Liking some girl, and she won't call you back, and you get hurt. I'm sure he asked out plenty of girls but keeps getting rejected then overtime you start doubting yourself, thinking you're ugly, worthless, stupid, poor, and realize that nobody wants to be him. I really could relate to him. It hurts so much that it breaks my heart for him and me
Sounds like Marty swiped right 10,000 times on Hinge
Me and mum years ago. Sorry mum, didn't get married, I couldn't...
This is a great movie. It's a simple story but so many people can personally relate to it--myself included.
Luckily I never had a mother (or dad) that pushed me into socializing or a relationship when they knew I had trouble with it. I imagine it's still very common in certain families to prey on someone's guilt
Earnest was a treasure. I LOVED watching him act. Such a powerful, and true, scene.
Hey c'mon Marty there's someone for everyone ,there's even more than one for everyone but you just gotta keep looking ,that special person is out there somewhere Marty believe me she's out there ......
The most literally me i have felt. When he said he figured he was past the point of getting hurt, then when he took the risk to ask her out and she brushed him off. Turns out it hurts still. Pretty bad too. Im 34, im giving up boys. Whatever these girls want, i dont got it.
His mom doesn’t care about his happiness, she just wants grandkids.
Its insane how relatable it is to this day. This may never get old, sadly. Its truly a human experience.
Name of the movie
Marty
An unmarried man without a child was only a worry to those families because they feared he was gay, or that pepple would think he was 😮
Marty, I know every last word of that. It's my life, too, and I imagine there are millions like me. We don't fit the profile, and if we actually do find someone, they won't stay. I've pretty much quit, and for quite some time. Ernest Borgnine deserved his Oscar for playing this role.
Love this. Old-school stage acting and great script. 50s movies are the best.
80% of men learn to go with out 80% of women learn to share the very few men that they all want. It is what it is.
Loneliness is still underrated, even we all know it exist with all ages. But his ma is right to go out and meet people and have fun. I know I should too.
Great actor. Briiliant in all his films. And Airwolf
This was me exactly 50 years ago with the Nagging Italian mother to boot.
Yup. I went online for what I hoped would be a cure for loneliness. It only made me lonelier.
My bachelor days were like this and I hated every moment of it. Thankfully I found somebody who deeply loves me and she and I have two beautiful daughters
I liked when 25 year old men looked 55
Nice guys finish last
“Whatever it is that women like, I ain’t got it,” - Truth
Even worse now when you give it another shot through online dating in your 40s, but all the divorced people just wind up choosing other divorced people without giving the never married people a chance
This is my life story right here. Like Marty, I have completely given up on the idea of marriage
He needs Jesus and the Goggins.
Living without the love and affection of a woman is the most cruel and brutal lesson that every man has to learn in the end. Doesn t matter if you re single, married, in a relationship. As a man you WILL face rejection, loneliness. The only thing you have in the end is you. And this is coming from someone who society would deem to be happily married.
I don't mind living alone. The most miserable people I know are married with children.
Although it hurts you never know if you don’t try !
Poor guy. I'm about to do something permanent at 35.
What's the lesson ?!
The lesson is, some people just have to get used to being alone. That's the way it is.
@@txlyons2937 Speak for yourself.
@@txlyons2937you’ve obviously never seen the movie 😂
he needed a union job that paid better. or a made mob guy he was sicilian. thats what made him no good with wimmen
Man I know we're talking about him but it must be so heartbreaking being a mom and see your son so sad, lonely and angry at life/himself. Not being able to help him.
There’s just no point in anything this day and age
definitely a dated film. probably would go phillipinestoday to marry a pinay
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
So much truth in that scene. Great acting no fluff.
That is a GREAT movie, by the way!
hes his own worst enemy
Damn… I remember feeling this way. Worked out and got out just enough to find some ladies. Times have always been rough for some though… are you trying everything you can to be your best or you figure being fat, unattractive, unemployed, uneducated, and not funny should be good enough?
i face that fact 7 years ago, but my parents bless their heart finally understand. the single gesture in the end where he tapping his mom hand, "dont worry ma"
Underrated classic.
Underrated? It won Oscars for best picture, director, actor, and screenplay. I guess One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is an underrated classic too.
It definitely received accolades at release. Underrated in the fact recent generations are almost completely unaware of its existence. There are many amazing films that exist in people's memory which will die when we die.
OG MGTOW
Im 62.Wife divorced me at 38 for a better deal.Ive always said that we all know who we are(if your honest).True love Is a magical chemistry that Is quite rare.Natural oganic chemistry Is a miracle when It comes. So odd when It arrives.
Always remember being alone makes you strong but my biggest fear is dying alone when the world turns its back on you you turn your back on the world
That is acting! Kills me!
Yeah, that about sums me up.
If only women understood that almost all of us lonely men are like this. Its true. Im there. Just last week i met a girl who said she wanted to see a movie with me we talk for awhile during the 2 days i known her. Seemd things were going well the 2nd day we were talking and i was gonna plan the movie date then she blocks me out of the blue. No reason at all. And i didnt say nothin weird or stupid to scare her away. Its hard going out and getting rejected contantly the more it happens the more we feel like itll never our time to he happy. But with all that heartbreak we still show love to these random people that we think could be the one. Someday guys we will find our one, u just gotta keep at it. Shes just around the corner u just havent walked enough road to find her yet. But you will
