Erasing some cans of store brand soda from existence at about 30 yards with the .22 caliber Magnum GR air rifle from Gamo. I'm using Crosman Premier 14.3 grain hollow point pellets and shooting from a Caldwell rest. Pardon my creaky chair.

Feeding an invasive brown rat that I trapped to a possum rather than letting it go to waste. But only after the possum licks up a peanut butter appetizer that I left out along with the rat.

In an effort to confirm whether or not there's rats in our back yard, I've been leaving out some birdseed mixed with peanut butter as bait in front of a small trail camera. Last night I unintentionally got the attention of the biggest possum I've seen in years. Be sure to watch with the sound on so you can hear him happily munching.

Most likely caused by the larvae of pine beetles or bark beetles gnawing on the rotten, dead wood. Even when we passed by on a noisy gravel walkway, they could still be heard easily.

You can see them preening their feathers, and at one point they both start calling ever so briefly. Then finally, you can see the one on the right start scratching with his/her foot, much like a dog or a cat would do.

Audio muted due to excessive wind noise. Despite the signs warning people NOT to feed the alligators, a man next to us on the boardwalk started throwing Wonder Bread into the water. Who knew that alligators liked bread?!
