A great full body weighted burpee variation. You can program the man maker for traditional sets and reps as part of a superset or circuit, or use high rep man makers (30-50 reps) as a great workout ending finisher. Don't rush them, but keep going with good form until total reps are complete. www.competitiveedgefitness.com

One Warrior Minute - Episode 37: Step Outside Your Box
Просмотров 298 лет назад
A great way to grow is by signing up for an event outside your norm. I'm a grappler and a beach volleyball player. The furthest I had ever run was 13 miles. SO, I signed up for a 50K (32 miles) trail race with my wife and her friends. It is easy to do something you love. Quite another to do something difficult that you don't really enjoy or aren't used to doing. You might even have fun doing it...

Sir I'm trying to get my 1.5 in sub-10:30. I can't seem to run a sub-7 mile. I've only been training for about a week and a half n I get damn close to breaking the 7 minute mark but I just don't seem to have that ability. I could push harder for sure, I've built my endurance up much higher than when I first started. My concern is health affects from running in heat and smoke, usually if I push too hard I get woozy, throw up, and my lungs n throat get tore up by the smoke n that's no good y'know?

Great advice! The math is perfect 2:30+2:30=5:00, so it goes 2:30+2:30=5:00, which is 10:00. Add 2:30+2:30=5:00 which is the last half mile. Thus he is right, if you set a pace of two minutes and thirty seconds after 6 quarter miles you will be at 15:00 minutes.
