DLSU ANIMO LASALLE 💚💚
Grateful alumnus of both DLSU and UST. Animo La Salle! Go USTe!
Every university just loves UST chant. Go uste, go uste, go uste gogogogo

Im a big fan of UST! 🐯🐯🐯 Ty Dlsu! 😄❤❤❤
I saw this before but didn’t bother to comment. Until a friend shared this on FB. We were broken hearted... I was frustrated coz that was the first championship I watch live after the 4-peat era when I was still with the UST Yellow Jackets. From the man behind Go USTe, thank you La Salle... Animo La Salle! ☝🏻🥁🗣💚🤍💛
Tribute to Teng Brothers kasi to.. :)
hatdog
This was taken on the Animo Night after the Green Archers won the Championship against UST in 2013. It was pretty special too since it was Teng vs Teng and was the last year of Jeric in College.

Thank you Lasallians. #GoUSTe!
This was 6 years (UAAP Season 76) ago when DLSU beat UST in the Men's Basketball finals for the championship. :)
Thank You! Animo LaSalle! #GoUSTe
Welcome to the brotherhood, DLSU! Thanks for the support! -Thomasian
Warriors Here ...
Go Uste! Animo La Salle! Proud to have the best of both worlds! I'm proud to be a part of: La Salle Green Hills Grade School Batch 1998, La Salle Green Hills High School Batch 2002, De La Salle University-Manila-AB Political Science Batch 2005, and currently, taking up my Masters of Law at the University of Sto. Tomas-Graduate School..... So during the 2013 UAAP Finals, wala akong talo dahil school ko pareho... My formative and secondary years prevailed in my heart.... :) St. Thomas Aquinas, Pray for us. St. John Baptist De La Salle, Pray for us. Live Jesus in our Hearts.... FOREVER!
All schools do that as a sign of respect for their opponent. I have seen this many times. #gouste
I'm very proud that all Lasallites / Lasallians strictly adhered to the teachings of our De La Salle Christian Brothers who has inculcated in us our Lasallian values of "Religio, Mores et Cultura" and to always be a "Signum Fidei" for others as you live by Saint La Salle's prayer of "Live JESUS In Our Hearts, Forever!" To always keep in our minds and in our hearts: to be Signum Fidei to be a Sign of Faith for others to always be Lasallian.
@special forces, Wow. Pure Hatred yang mga Comment mo. And sounds Familiar pero hindi La Sallians or their Alumnus Gumagawa niyan But Ateneans. Mga Ateneans and other Graduates nila Gumagawa niyan Before. Aha. Don't make Stories Bro.
Bruno Sardine You sure? Marameng La Sallians ang nanunuod sa Araneta or Kahit Saang Venue supporting their School-DLSU. UST Student here. Pero kahit Talo School ko, Di Ako Bitter. I admire the Friendship of these two universities.
Wow. Iba talaga ang Samahan ng UST and DLSU Community. #DLSUSTFriendship Yung iba dito, FAN or Atenista siguro. Paano naging SIGN OF DISRESPECT Ito? Eh kahit saang Game/ Kahit nga sa Cheerdance pag Ibi-beat na ng UST ang "GO USTE" ChiniCheer ito ng mga Taga La Salle and Fans nila. Pathetic Atenean/Bandwagons.
Go La Salle! it just showed how close UST and DLSU are close!
what would you expect from people who watch the games only when they're in the Finals. lol
Historically, this was a sign of disrespect. Ask your elders.
Ahlen sir with all due respect as a drummer from UAAP we usually do this to pay respect to our opponent :) win or lose even in game proper :)
I agree, Alliahmae. We do this in the NCAA as well.
I don't think this is an insult. Lasalistas are educated and cultured...
Also, when Jeron hugged his brother Jeric in the middle of the court, the crowd cheered for them. So i see this all as acts of sportsmanship.
You have to take that "Go Uste" chant in context. After game 3, when the UST squad was called to receive their runner up trophy, the crowd inside MOA arena including the La Salle fans chanted Go USTe as the UST squad was filing back to the hardcourt. That was intended to lift the spirits of the UST players sort of saying "congratulations, it is okay, you were worthy opponents". I do not see it as insulting. Besides, this is not the first time the La Salle crowd cheered for their opponent.
May nagsabi ba na insulto yun? Kitid naman utak nila lol
Trust me, that crowd was meaning to say "step aside", rather than "well done". They believe it's a classier version of mocking defeated opponents by making them believe it's a praise. The catch here is ignorance to the blindest level. If you fell for it, then the joke's on you. That's what's up.
What does being a mother have to do with anything? Ha-ha-ha.
whoever you are, you're also stupid. i am a mother, and I don't care if La Salle or UST won. If its UST who won, I will say the same thing. watch your mouth if you're educated enough.
really? hmm, its obviously a sign of disrespecting USTe
yeah true iba talaga ugali ng mga lasalians mga bastos though im from dlsu also but I was just saying the truth
Im from DLSU also but yeah i think you're right
no it wasnt, they actually mocking UST
really? Sportsmanship baka naman pang aasar stupid!
Bobo.
@ special forces haters and losers! none sense comment LOL!
if you noticed, people were chanting go USTe louder and went wild... this was a clear sign of respect...
Not saying 100% of the lasalle students and alumnis at the arena was in on it... I could safely say about 50% of the alumnis, they have been flipping the bird all series long, at rival players and refs. I can tell these were CEO's and Corporate heavyweights, and everytime they would unleash hell, their negative energy rubs off on the students and the students would do the same. I was on the FEU side & we together with the FEU students didnt know how we're gonna make it out the arena in one piece
the INFAMOUS lasalle hooligan crowd, the most OBSCENE crowd in the UAAP (for a catholic university). Ive seen their alumnis, at season68 finals, IN SUIT & TIES, spit, throw water & water bottles at opposing players as they make their way to the dugout. Then intimidate security personnel when being reprimanded. Same series a lasalle coach hit a rival player. In defeat, lasalle hurled coins at FEU fans & players, denying them of their victory huddle midcourt. UP, UST & Ateneo was never like that
Ikr? I'm from La Salle too and yet this just sends out the wrong signals. I'd feel outraged if I was from UST right now.
This is a sign of PEACE and RESPECT~ Dahil 'to sa TENG brothers!! >.<
It's a sign of respect. FEU did the same thing back in 2009 when UP beat them in UAAP Men's Football.
ang pangit ng kuha
I don't think they chanted "GO USTE!" to disrespect UST. Its A class act by a classy organization. #respect
Is it possible that they were chanting "Go Uste" just to taunt them?
