It was a good one last year. I worked as crew last year.

Are you contracted with the ship or with the entire company. Meaning can they just move you to a different ship for whatever reason? Is it possible to hope from ship to ship and just live on the cruise for presumably indefinitely?

I am interviewing for an Audio Technician spot on NCL (which would be my first contract, in fact, the only other ship I have been on was a large gambling cruise ;-) ). Regardless for my lack of "sea legs", my resume got me noticed. Hey Christine! Just applied for Sound Technician and Sound Operator for Royal! I’ve gone to school and done work in the audio field, but more in a studio setting. I’m really looking forward to doing this, but there’s just a few minor things I haven’t had a whole lot of hands on work with. Is there like training that comes with boarding?
