I just bought this board. It's a really dumb design not to have the heatsync movable. However, you can run without a heatsync, it's not end of the world, but yeah frustrating

I kind of having a similar issue, i tried using paperpin method to check if my power supply works and it works but as soon as i connect it to my motherboard it doesnt work, when i try to start PC, the LED on my watercooler hits for half a second, PSU doesn’t turn on and no lights on motherboard whatsoever, when i turn off my power supply, watercooler LED hits again for Half a second and turns off! Not sure what to do. 🥹 Can you tell me how did you fix the issue? Do i have to change motherboard? Or power supply?? Update: I tried to put a paperclip on 4 and 5th pin connector of PSU, and tried to start pc and it worked however as soon as i remove the clip it stops everything. Still not sure whats the actual issue but i am probably gonna continue with the paperclip! 🥹

This is common for asus. They never say what it is or why it does not ppwer on. I have heard 20 different explanations and none of them are correct. Its bad horrible traces. Your pwr button does not work because of crap work at the factory. They are officially 3 rate mobos. Asus has went to crap since 2015.

I have the same exact problem. I had issues where it would also gets stuck in boot led with no video or VGA white light led, which is fixable by switching GPU. Updating the bios did not do anything at all. Whenever I tried to power on the motherboard from completely off, I need to jump the pins 4 and 5 just to power the motherboard. Sometimes, the power pins don't work when jumped (even when I left the pins 4 and 5 jumped) so I would do turn the PSU switch on to power the motherboard, then turn it off, and then turn it on at which it completely powers on the system. Basically, I have to leave my PC in sleep mode from now on. What a weird flaw from this board honestly.

I have the same problem, debug light on dram and i just bought new ram and debug led dram still on, does it mean my mobo is faulty?

i rip the left button upwards (not fully off, just pry it open) and close it again. fixes it for a while.....

If your mouse is relatively new. Like less than 3 year old . Then just blow some air from your mouth between the gaps of the mouse cause in some mouses(including G102) the double click issue happens because of static build up and our breath has enough moisture to remove that extra static build-up .My almost 3 year G102 had a double click issue and it got fixed by the method above.

G102 is designed to last not more than 2 years. On extensive use, 1 year. It's very smart, most companies do that. There were rumors about subscription based mouse, they cancelled it. Althought if youre observant, you'd notice that their mouses are already like a subscription.😉

Cleaned PC, repasted CPU & GPU and this happened to me. In my case though I still didn't post even after clearing CMOS (shorting CLRTC). What worked for me was I reseated my CPU. I made sure pins and sockets are clean. Lever in locked position and CPU was secured.

i have asus tuff gaming b660m plus wifi d4 motherboard and im facing some issues since last few days when i try to turn on computer in the morning i press power button nd system. turn on for a second nd off again nd same happen so manytime nd after many attempts the system. turn on normally if once turn on then no problem all day work fine but today my motherboard rgb leds turn on but wont power on 😢 my motherboard still under warranty but there is no outlet in here so pleas help me to sortout the problem i already chek evrything cmos battry gpu power supply even i clean prosessor as we'll but still wont power on just motherboards rgb leds turn on only

0:28 Possibly same thing happend to me. I'm currently using ASUS TUF B450M PRO GAMING and the aura rgb from bottom right side doesn't glow rainbow too after powering the PSU. Does this mean my mobo is dead? PSU is fine when I use paper clip but when I connect it to mobo it still doesn't work.

Ill check but for now its going to have to remain plugged in😅 All I did is swap power supplies and graphics card. And all of a sudden it wont boot.. Took the power supply to a different pc and it turned on right away, so I knew the psu was fine.. I’ve quadruple checked connections.. had no idea whats going on

The Sensors is different than G102 Prodigy which is using Mercury.. They downgrade the sensor in this Lightsync version.

It may have just been a faulty PSU to Motherboard 24 pin cable instead of the motherboard itself. Did you try replacing just the cable? I have the same issue and might try doing this.

i have B550 PLUS..when i tern on the PWS it lights up the RGBs but wont boot. tried all methods but nothing...i just keep trying the power button for hours till it terns on normally then never tern it off! sadly I'm from RSA load shedding is my enemy I'm planning to buy a UPS.
