I didn’t even know you could get the dragon balls in budokai 1 for the longest time

If you have 9 of 1 Capsule it stops showing up in the shop. So yes if you have 9 of every purchaseable capsule only the dragonballs will show up in that free space

As much as I played it, I actually don’t remember having the ability to get the dragon balls in the first budokai so this is news to me.

You can also get a dragon ball in the story but it’s rare

Feeling incredibly blessed that the only breakthrough I ever got was for Vegeta

I'll always be grateful to the Pal version for the Japanese performances, I find the dub for this game rather amateur and subdued in comparison. The subtitles are wonky at times but a fine trade off. In some cases more accurate too.
