This is so helpful! Iʻm trying to set up my high school art classroom with a press. Iʻm deciding between the deluxe Conrad E12 or the standard E15. Do you think the size you are working- about 12 inches across by 26(?) is large enough? Iʻm trying to weigh space in the classroom, cost, function, and versatility. Thanks so much for this video and any advice as an educator! :)

Luvon is a most talented individual and humanitarian with all the attributes of Kindness, Respect and Joy accompanied with a loving smile. He has been a fellow artist and long time friend not only to my Brother Antonio Petracca since late 1960's, but to the Petracca Family. I hope to get to the Joy and Sheppard Gallery soon. Recently. Luvon has been a support to my family after my brother Antonio has suffered a devastating accident. God Bless Luvon and his loved ones.

I love Bonk's take on why art is important and how the FCAC helps celebrate our creative drive, and these little moments where we get to be in a space, make a thing, be able to try something new or explore something that brings us joy. It may not matter to anyone else, but it's so important to our souls. Great video.

Tween is NOT known as ammonium dichromate! "Tween®20 is a polyoxyethylene sorbitol ester that belongs to the polysorbate family. It is a nonionic detergent having a molecular weight of 1,225 daltons, assuming 20 ethylene oxide units, 1 sorbitol, and 1 lauric acid as the primary fatty acid." Which is to say, it's basically liquid detergent. "Ammonium dichromate, however, is a totally different beast: "Ammonium dichromate is an inorganic compound with the formula (NH4)2Cr2O7. In this compound, as in all chromates and dichromates, chromium is in a +6 oxidation state, commonly known as hexavalent chromium. It is a salt consisting of ammonium ions and dichromate ions." It is also considered toxic and should be handled with care.
