Honda Ridgeline at the Alberta Safari Park

I took my 2006 Ridgeline to the Alberta Safari Park East of Edmonton, Alberta to hang with the Edmonton Jeep Community people. I had a blast and didn't wreck my truck! What more could I ask for other than a few more precious inches of clearance? November 7, 2009
Ridgeline Hill Climbing Fun
Просмотров 6 тыс.14 лет назад
This is my first time taking my 2006 Honda Ridgeline on a hill like this. It's also my very first RUclips video. I hope you like it!
2023 where is the Ridgeline now??
Porque los americanos no pueden escribir que se entienda 🌕 jaja que pedo
Mud really likes to hide up in the subframe after doing this kind of stuff. It's a real PITA to clean the underside of Ridgeline lol
It stakes a village
always thought this shit was a dumb sport for the rich, who just happily goes out to ruin thier vehicles for fun..idiots man but on a side note why didnt the guy use 4 wd?
2021 and im still driving the old ridgeline like a beast, take care of it and they go far
Woweeeeee
Get a land cruiser
хонда может. Природа как в россии
ㄷㄴㅊㅅ
Who else cringed at the sight of those guys standing in front of a winching cable? I guess they've never heard one snap. Those ridgelines are surprising, especially considering the tires.
For not having decent tires, I'm impressed with that Ridgeline. That VTM-4 lock actually works. And here I thought they were just toy trucks. I take it back Honda. Nice job.
Но может последних 2 препятствия не возьму из-за клиренса
Цивик6 правления универсал
Я там на цивике проеду, оусайдеры, на тропинках тестирую !!!...
I am curious if the Honda's VTM was engaged.
What exhaust set up did the ridgeline have???
Vtm4 use it
Those people are bunch of idiots 😅 what's next . .are they gonna to try to climb up the tree with the car next time
You gonna burn out the engine by reving it like that
Impressive!! 💯💯👍🏻
Best sounding off-road truck I’ve ever gotten to experience
Was vtm-4 lock on the whole time?
The driver is gonna fuck that Jeep Liberty up bad. He can’t drive for shit
Tires on this truck?
Need a lift
That's impressive. I think the ridgeline with the 2" lift will be in the running for my next pickup
Awesome video! Exactly what im looking for when i type a vehicle “off road” cool video keep them coming
Ha my neighbor has a Ridgeline and he parks on the street when it snows because it won't make it up his drive way, In the city.
wow this truck is amazing
Love my 2017 ridgeline never cared what anyone said it fits me. I am in a wheelchair and can get in and out no problems and know that if I need to get out of a pickle it will do it. 🚘🚘🏎
Where's that brush guard from
what bush guard is that
These are meant for heavy offroad but it did very well. nice job
I like the part when the finger got stuck on the hill...
Surprised at how capable the Ridgeline is considering it does not have low range or locking differentials. Hopefully honda will update this truck.
leadnsteel you got your wish the new ridge line is the best yet.
It can roughly lock the differential in 1st and 2nd with the vtm-4 button.
It has locking diffs, that only work in 1st or 2nd and reverse.
I wonder what happens if you hit VTEC while offroading?
They updated it to complete ugliness
That Ridgeline is one heck of an awesome vehicle
tiny truck
I like the tease from the Jeep Liberty, dang Jeep wasn't even challenged, it just floated along....the Honda didn't do bad....
joe Honda is heavier
Looks like the driver forgot to turn off VSA!!!!!
evidence that the ridge line actually does have a rear differential
Does the Pilot also have the same mechanicals, as in rear differential? I assumed so given the VTM-4 Lock button....these trucks don't get enough credit. So what they're not body on frame? Neither is the Cherokee...not comparing, but these do pretty well for vehicles that are super reliable and comfortable daily drivers/family haulers.
***** some pilots are 2wd, but yes, the four wheel drive pilots have the same vtm-4 system. they're definitely not bad vehicles, but it is important to note that body on frame vehicles are inherently better for off-roading. the vtm-4 is more meant to handle occasional adverse conditions, e.g. mud and snow. it's more of an apples to oranges comparison.
ChinchillaInTheHeat The years that share the Ridgeline platform with the Pilot are all AWD vehicles, That is the First Gen Pilot (03-08). The Ridgeline was a very old platform even for today standards, It shares nothing from the 2nd gen (09-15) or 3rd gen (16-XX) Pilots so its pointless to compare it to the 2WD Pilots.
skirmich what country do you live in? in the US there were lot of first gen pilots that were 2wd
ChinchillaInTheHeat Yeah Scratch that I am thinking about the MDX..
That Ridgeline sounds sweet
It does sound amazing, suprisingly similar to my wifes Hyundai Sonata 3.3 V6 with a muffler delete and intake.
ahhh The Great sound of a Houda I could Fap to it.
Just think if it had a little more aggressive tire on the ridgeline.Ilove my 2008 ridgeline super tight no rattles no squeaks 130000 miles.
This makes me smile, I have a Ridgeline and usually a lot of people say its a terrible car when its actually really great. Never had one problem. I love seeing other people giving good motivation and optimism towards this whole thing. Seems like a lovely group of people!
The only complaint i have with my 2008 ridgeline is the gas mileage
I owned one for a short while and absolutely LOVED it! The gas mileage did leave something to be desired, but for a truck it wasn't really too bad.
we had an f-150 and when we changed for the ridgeline we were scared it would get stuck in snow or not go up country roads but its just as good as an f-150 and probably better
By far the best off roading vehicle available is the 4x4 minivan without the back seats to store your daughters soccer friends.
the last guy doesn't quite understand the use of momentum. very important in mud or snow
Very nice ridgeline. Been looking at a few of them. Lot guys say they dont do well off road ur shows they do with good tires. Got 2012 dodge avenger thats nothing but problems kinda looking at get used ridgeline.
I love my Ridgeline. Its great in snow, and amazing with snow tires. I had snow tires this whole winter and I live in Northeast PA, and it was very tough and I drove through many ice and snow storms and never slid once. Its great at hauling too. Its iffy on gas, but I drive almost everyday so I can't complain. It's a great car all in all.
Because they're ridgy haters lol
Maddie Stark trust me, its a lot better with fuel than the typical f150. my buddy and i do trips every year to a trail for dirtbiking. he uses about $50 in fuel in his f150 i use about 30-35 in the Ridgeline. both 2007s.
It’s the best truck ever! It sounds like an NSX, it never dies, and they never age, every Ridgeline I’ve seen except ours looks very Clean and mean! Our Ridgeline is horrible. It has a worn out interior and there are scratches EVERYWHERE. Also the exhaust has puncture in it
Ps I DONT OWN THE RIDGE IN THE VID. OURS MENTIONED IS A COMPLETELY SEPARATE RIDGLINE
honda should offer a bigger v6 and small v8 for the ridgeline just for more options
Ford or a Honda...... Plz
I love watching these videos of the Ridgeline. Makes me confident in owning one. I've heard so much nasty shit from people on them, I lost confidence in owning one but every time I watch these videos it makes me so happy to be an owner of the Ridgeline. LOOOOVE my T R U C K!
Awesome vid! I love ridgelines.
The ridgeline is a smooth riding truck.
