One of the best pistols I have ever owned 👍 I've put over a thousand rounds through it with out a hickup 👍👍👍
It's a low maintenance tank of a handgun.
$70 for a working 8mm rifle seems like a fantastic deal...I'm seeing prices on Armslist for about $500.
I bought this 1 a long time ago and the prices have skyrocketed on the milsurp rifles.
Outstanding sir!!!! I’ll do it right now!
Face is real close to the charging handle, dont get bit.
One of the best and most influential patterns of Kar98. A rifle better designed and built than any Springfield 1903, which was an odd hybrid of Krag and M1893 Small Ring Mauser. In defense of the inferior 1903 one can appreciate better the C stock (on a minority of exemplars, especially when shaped to fuller and heftier dimensions) or the A3 pattern sights, but these are lipstick on a pig. Whether one prefers the VZ24 to Kar98k pattern is a matter of taste. Both are excellent infantry rifles. The only American/British Mauser style infantry rifle which was issued which is a worthy rival is the P14/M1917. Winchester in its Model 54, then Model 70 CRF pre 64 and then in its Model 70 CRF introduced a decade before the death of the company improved on the Mauser design with a superior CRF action. In general CRF actions have only one deficiency (which can be mitigated to some degree by how the extractor is cut or adapted) and that is they do not accommodate push feeding rounds into the chamber. While it is not particularly difficult to depress a round into the magazine of a CRF, it does mean unlearning pushfeed habits and adopting a CRF loading discipline.
Thank you for your comment. It’s a very in-depth analysis.
1187 premier? Either way I love the 1187, wish Remington kept these instead of bothering with the V3. 1100/11-87 are amazing semi autos, neighbor uses his for doves and waterfowl and keeps teasing he’ll sell it to me but no luck making him budge haha
I’m not sure what make it premier but that’s the stamping. It’s been a trusted field gun and it was used when I bought it in 1992. This one is an oldie though for certain. I hope you pick up your neighbors shotgun if he sells it.
Thank you!
Itll do fine. That mag tune brace looks a little weak.
Knock on wood, it’s held up so far.
These are under rated and are superbly built
They are and this 1 had been tucked away for far too long.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family
Gorgeous rifle man, love the AK content
Thank you! They are 1 of my favorite rifles.
What’s cosmaline? Nice rifle!
That thick amber rust preventative that you find on a lot of old surplus. It gets sticky after time.
How would a person, survive getting stuck with a banet.
It could be a bad wound.
You are cool
I meant are not ate
Thank you.
Blackhawk ak47 chest rig
I’ll have to check out a modern carry rig.
Can you hunt with these extra rounds?
Definitely in NC.
Beretta😍❤👍
And this is how you fuck up a good rifle you push it down all the way
I’m looking into one what year approximately is the heel mag 92s
They’re probably late 70s/80s from the Italian police/military but this one came with a new barrel and it’s all metal parts from what I’ve seen.
@ he wants 330 for it and it comes with the case and 3 mags🤷♂️
@@Designsfrmfreezerjump on it. Mine was 319 with just 1 mag.
@ 👍
@@flyingfowltraining what’s the capacity and can you use any other mags with the euro style
I would like to know it it would fit a S&W 686 6 inch.
There’s a revolver model that would be a better choice for the 686 but I don’t know the model number.
That’s a very neat pouch!! Thanks for the review and for showing a video of it!! Very neat!!
Thanks for sharing the video. I just got one in excellent condition. It was originally my grandfather’s and he passed it down to my father and now my dad is in his last year with stage 4 cancer so he passed it on to me. I have not shot this model yet but others that are of the same caliber. I hear that this model is a very reliable one or at least favored by the soldiers my grandfather served with. At least that’s what my father told me. I was always novice when it came to guns because I learned how to shoot at the age of 4 when we lived in Wyoming. I obviously wasn’t an expert on firearms by any means I just knew how to shoot and use one. I have recently (5years ago) got back into them and hunting. Anyway thanks again for sharing this video.
Thank and I believe you’ll be pleased with the rifle. Watch out for that side sling mount on the butt. It can be a mouth popper.
There is plenty of ammo on the shelves now 15 months later.
Ain’t that the truth. The rounds seemed to dry up 2 years ago or so.
Scalpers were getting as much as $80.00 a box at deer season during the crisis I heard.
Btw; how did that ammo shoot for you? That is a really good load by all reports.
Do you still have the manual for this product? I lost mine and cannot find a place to get a manual. Would really appreciate a copy.
@@davidskra I don’t but you could try contacting the company for a replacement copy.
thanks for the tip.
You’re welcome and hope it’s helpful.
Great video do u think this holster will cause finish loss/ holster wear?
Thank you. General use probably won’t her the finish, especially modern hard coat finishes. However, being a soft material holster, it may retain moisture if wet.
@ cool thank u
Great video thanks I was thinking of getting this holster to have a complete rig for my P1. Do you think this holster would cause finish loss/ holster wear if I store my P1 in it?
If you store it in holster, keep a check periodically for any wear.
@ great thanks
They will make also customized design 😮
Thank you. I’ve been happy with their stock grips and I didn’t know they did customs. I’ll keep that in mind.
They will make also customized design 😮
Not cocked and locked?
Nice video brother. As a heads up sellier and bellot 7.62x25 hits about 1500 from handgun and ppu about 1250 for funsies. Great fun round
Thank you. I’ll have to try the S&B on another panel.
@@flyingfowltraining bless you my good sir. Fire breather 👍. Keep up the good work and have fun!
Great video of our friend!!
name name of optic sir?
It’s a MidTen 2MOA Red Dot Sight 1x25mm Reflex Sight. It’s a budget optic but it performs well.
Had a Norinco MAK90 and it was one of the most garbage AK's I have shot to date stateside and overseas.
Wow. They usually had a good reputation from owners. Did you have feed, accuracy issues etc?
@@flyingfowltraining no feed issues but the rear sight, gas block and front sight were all canted to the right about 21.5 degrees. The most over gassed AK I have ever shot. I sold the pos for 800 just to get it gone. Mine was a ‘94. I could be wrong but I believe as the years went on and China knew their importing days were numbered so they cranked them out in quantity NOT quality. I have a Bulgarian slr-95 that shows how much cleaner of a job the Chinese could have done. I’ll never own another Chinese gun again.
I can’t believe I’m the first commenter. I have a Hinks table oil lamp fuelled by Paraffin oil and a brass finger lamp also on Paraffin. The first time I tried out the finger lamp (last night) I had the wick just showing above the burner but unlike my Hinks lamp, the wick was too high to start with and the top of the chimney went black straight away. This morning I washed the chimney and tried again, this time successfully. No black chimney😁👏 I think I’ll fill it with olive oil when the paraffin runs out and is washed. If it goes great, I’ll do the same with my Hinks lamp. You don’t half get some heat from the little lamp though!
They’ll work as bug repellent lights when used with citronella fuel. The bigger lamps seem to be more effective.
How do you clean and lube the springs and also the magazine spring
Usually a nylon brush works for the recoil springs. For the magazine spring, disassemble the magazine and wipe the spring down for any corrosion or debris.
@@flyingfowltraining I see you have great knowledge and experience ,would you be able to do a video or tutorial for this for the p38 and the magazine please
@@T2official Thank you. It may take some time but I can put it in the lineup.
@@flyingfowltraining thank you friend
Impeccable audio
How much of a match is pew pew to your surroundings?
It’s decent but it can change with the different seasons.
@@flyingfowltrainingI figured you were in SE 🇺🇸 with those colors before I even checked out your the channel. I’m over in GA!!!
@@kyngwilliams706 we’re just north of you in the Carolinas.
My Taurus PT-145 holds 10 rounds, shoots VERY well and was about half the price...
I don’t even remember the price on this one. It’s an oldie, no rail or anything.
Hey mate, either they made exactly the same ones, but I have a few of these I got from Russia (Soviet stockpiles) where marked with Cyrillic writing
I believe it’s a close copy of the Russian ones. That’s cool to have a real Russian example.
I like the previous model without an oilcan pocket.
20 grains
Now that thing is awesome!!!
Thank you. It’s a different style of can but kind of neat.
Awesome! Thanks for the video!
I had a p90 45 back in the day. The only reason I got rid of it was it only held 8 rounds. But I recently found a p85 9mm. Excellent condition. I always liked that p series for some reason. I think with the houge grips they just look mean!💯
The pistol is a tank and they just keep on getting it. A grip change is an interesting idea.
It's not an oddball round dude
They’re forged now. I’m sure they hold up better than the previous gen. The underfold models are going for $670 right now on Atlantic firearms
@@MKemp-dr4xe that’s not a bad price at all. We’ll see how this piece holds up over time.
That’s a nice tripod! Great video and review!
@@LifeofMurphysOutdoorsChannel Thank you. It works pretty well for cameras too but it doesn’t have built in tilt function.
cool
Thank you. We’ll have to gel test this 1.
Awesome! Great video! Thanks for sharing!
