Seems weird to know and understand what a device is capable of and then waste a bunch time trying to push it beyond its already known limits, and then have a bunch of negative things to say about it. Its obviously not meant for PSP, N64, or Saturn. Its like getting pissed about a station wagon not being able to compete with a Lamborghini.

Do you by chance know how steam deck joysticks compare to Rg 4pro? I can find used steam decks for sub $300 occasionally and if they’re a huge upgrade I’d make sure I go for a steam deck

This screen looks deceivingly big. I know it’s 3.4, I suppose the device itself must be pretty compact. I’m used to my 40XX-H so far and loving it. Not sure I can go down to 3.4 now. Still looks great! Thanks for the early highlight!

Yeah I think I'll pass on this one. I have a SP already and honestly after getting the Trimui Brick the screen is so much better on the Brick relative to most Anbernic handhelds that it feels like a downgrade going back to the SP.

I love the GBA styling, but it could stand to be a little cheaper. If it ever goes on sale in the $50-55 range I may pick it up.

Regarding analog sticks, it's not that these are "cheap" per se, but they have cardinal snapping programmed in the system, which is awesome for retro games but sucks in games with free cam like modernish fps games.

Id buy a glacier blue GBA clone in an instant. Sad to say anbernic is a cash in company trying to replicate their success of the SP without innovation. Anyone who cant see this probably makes youtube videos,

That Soul Calibur looks very bad. I can make it look nicer on an XX H700 device with 640X480 for real. This has an oled screen too. If you need retroarch settings just lmk.

My sudachi crashes at the startup of EVERY single game, some take like 5 mins just to immediately freeze. Switching between default and vulkan GPU and neither seems to work. What's happening?

Thanks for the video. While I did not need it to upgrade my stick (yet), it helped my with disassembling my RG40XXV to clean up the membrane of the face buttons, because my A-button did not register every input. Now it's working like a charm.
