That’s a good point you can also do that in r6 but I classify that in a different category as this, CS, valorant even though it is by definition still a tac shooters

@@kusha4203 thankfully they give you full customization of your crosshair including turning off the firing/movement error under the crosshair settings

@@reflex3490 there’s no worse feeling than popping off and losing especially in tac shooters like this. What I like compared to valorant is that you can at least guarantee there will be two good players (you and your clone) on your team, unfortunately that also means if someone’s garbage you get 2x them too

@@editafficianado it’s free to play and out on steam rn, definitely worth trying if you’re into tac fps

You start with 4 and there are another 4 you can unlock

you have to activate the new 4 like a contract or buy them for 10$ each

The yoru class looks pretty fun, just not sure how fast this will get old with such limited variance in gameplay

@@editafficianado the clone is still really good but it’ll probably be like yoru where eventually everyone recognizes it easier and doesn’t shoot

Xdefiant has its moments but it gets repetitive so fast, it feels like a modified shatterline/cod and the gameplay loop is the same as those games. Splitgate truly feels next gen it doesn’t feel like you’re playing something else. Also the gameplay and pacing in this game feels significantly faster than Overwatch. It is quite literally the opposite of “a slow pace 4v4”

This game lets you play that way now, there isn’t a need to portal like the first one at all

i love the new look of the game but the mechanical changes are questionable i’ll have to test for myself 🤔

When I got invited to the last playtest there were people online fighting and you'd run across people in the open world, but I have no idea when the actual release date is, game definitely needed work

They made great changes to the game

This is truly next generation to any of those games, they did a great job on the game feel

@@Flo-zj9tg it was a thing in the first game and allowed for some really awesome plays, I’d like it but I also think it’s another skill ceiling by itself

@@Flo-zj9tg the mechanic of replacing a portal with your own is entirely new and will be really interesting to tune, I could see it being adjusted though it feels revolutionary to be able to do

@@MikaveliTV do you think smokes on sabrask will be important for ranked? And only if you’d like, I would appreciate seeing more of the charge shotgun on meridian from the next play test. Not a lot of RUclipsrs even tried it for longer than a few minutes. The only footage of it I could find was one of the devs used it on and off for 2 hours on twitch.

@@editafficianado the portaling feels really smooth, just a bit different than the first since you can’t animation cancel the portal with a wep switch. Very consistent input though

@@EnthusiastPro definitely feels like a Splitgate 2. Playing destiny back in the day, destiny 2 felt like they just rereleased the same game, it was pretty much destiny 1.5. Split 2 reworked a lot of how the game mechanics worked in the original game and added an entirely new layer of depth with the factions and new loadout system, they hit a home run

@@fpsgamingcashcups I’d say so far the strongest additions to the game are the meridian speedup cloud, the meridian scan, the sabrask warden rifle, and finally the Aeros overshield makes them feel like a tank sometimes as well. It’s still an alpha so they will be tuning a lot of these moving forward

@@challengingshout the game is on unreal engine 5 and the gameplay itself feels like a new experience and not just a lazy copy pasted version of something else like a lot of games out there

Yeah I rebound each portal to scrollwheel up/down and it felt great, but default bind now is both portals on one keybind alternating

@@ralifoux yeah I definitely think this one will appeal to the masses significantly more than the last. Looking forward to seeing everyone’s reaction this upcoming week
