Touring the Market in Cotacachi, Ecuador

In this video, we take a tour of the meat and produce market in Cotacachi, Ecuador. The market is open everyday, but Sunday is the day to shop since there is the largest selection available. We shop here at least twice a week and tend to return to our favorite spots. There is an enormous variety of produce and it is fresh, delicious, and much cheaper than the States.

After spending two amazing days exploring Quito, we get a ride to our new temporary hometown of Cotacachi, Ecuador. We drive along the Pan American Highway north through Tabacundo, the rose capital of Ecuador. Then past Lago San Pablo and through Otavalo. In the morning, we head south to the Intinan Museum to walk on the equator and learn from the guides. Next we head to the Teleférico to explore the top of Volcán Pichincha. We finish our day with more time walking the Historic District of Quito, and enjoy a delicious dinner followed by exceptional ice cream. Please like and subscribe!

After our midday arrival in Quito, we spent the afternoon exploring the Historic District of Quito. We toured La Basilica, walked through the main square and grabbed a delicious dinner at El Balcón.
