MagnaFlow 19217 Exhaust Note
Some of you guys wanted to know what exhaust I got and how it sounds. Here’s a video of how it sounds. It’s not the loudest, but I got it more for the performance. Magnaflow offers actual HP gains per their website and that I was a big part of why I got this system. Also, CA is quite strict. You get pulled over for being too loud lol

We all know Challenger's are good in a straight line, but can they turn? I came to the Puretrack event to prove that a boat can turn. Oh yeah it can hah! For someone who’s coming from a 19 Kia Forte with 147 HP, would you say that that one of the SXT models has more than enough of a jump in performance compared to getting an RT? Not a car guy at all. But I’ve always wanted a Challenger since I was a kid.
It’s a nice jump, but the weight of the car negates a lot of that. For that reason, I’d recommend you test drive both the SXT and the RT before you make your decision.

It’s been awhile since I did it, but it was $7,500 total when I did it years ago. Not sure how Biden flation will affect the prices now.

You’ll have to find a local performance shop
The only way to make the Pentastar V/6 fun is to Ripp Supercharge it. A friend did this to his Challenger GT and was blowing stock 392's off the road.

The car ran well for 5 years. On my 6th year I traded it in for a SUV, rav4. It was time to get a family car as I recently got married.

What’s the biggest issues with this car maintenance wise I’m looking into getting the sxt plus and I have a concern with the digital stuff and how it in the winter and rain
One thing you should check is the serpentine belt. The stock one might not be strong enough. Mine snapped after around 30k miles with the supercharger. Had to to it replaced with the RIPP one. The digital stuff will not be an issue. Sams with winter and rain. It still drives normal unless you’re planning to do burnouts in the winter which is a bad idea in the first place lol.
@@shawnsms29 I appreciate it and I will check it I actually just got mine last Saturday and I’m in love with it got the sxt plus my main thing is gas mileage I mean omg that thing will burn out a full tank of gas in hrs man and I use 87 fuel

It was done by a local performance shop in brea. Unfortunately, the owner passed away and they’re closed now.

Holy shit. My Scat pushes 550 with some minor upgrades to the engine bay, but nothing that harms the engine. I think that the ability to push 512 out of the V6 Challenger is awesome, but also dangerous when it comes to reliability. Nice upgrades, if I were you I'd get a different exhaust just because I prefer the Blub Blub of a V8. But nice car dude! Seriously!
I agree, I’m on my 7th year with this car and it was fun while it lasted. Time to get a family car now that I’m married. Maybe I’ll get a corvette when I get older 😝

@@scatpackfun1119 that it’s not reliable in the long run. I’m happy I made it to 7 years at 80k miles, but getting the smog check up pass next year gonna be annoying. California is not the best state to have a gas guzzler. It was fun while it lasted 👌

All these mods… 400+ bhp at the wheels, and somehow the dash shows 23.3mpg. How on earth have you managed better MPG than most people get from stock?

Nice ride ! My only concern is how well will the engine hold up with the supercharger. I could have bought a hemi six speed challenger for another $5k but opted for a loaded GT AWD and love it. I’m however more into the style than the power but I will say it needs a better exhaust. I just got it today in Green Go and am hooked. Wanted one since 2008.
I went with magnaflow and it gave it a really nice sound. As for the supercharger it’s been with me for 55k thousand miles now. Now sure how much longer, but I’m glad to have it in these crazy gas price times
@@izzy0164 it doesn’t increase MPG, especially if you love to drive it hard lol RIPP claims that but that’s only if you’re riding in cruise all day lol and yes it voids your warranty unfortunately.
@@izzy0164 i averaged 19-24mpg depending on how much I drove on the freeway that week. Of course if you’re in sport mode all the time or gassing it as soon as the light turns green then that will be different.
I see no cons, just minor bumps. The only real cons is the price, specially if u want the heritage edition. Also is finding a legit tune shop to get u set up right and not milk you. Can't wait to install mines, setting the foundation first, currently working on suspension and exhaust.

@@Faust8423 I did my exhaust and some handling mods like sway bars, strut bars, and thicker tires.

How much did it cost to have yours supercharged?
The labor was 1,700. Though that was pre inflation costs 🤷🏻♂️

It’s been smooth going on the 4th year now. I had one instance where I had to replace the serpentine belt. It was time to replace it though since the supercharger ran it a little too hard lol
beautiful car bro I purchased the 2018 dodge charger gt plus as iv got little kids its my daily otherwise I love the challenger my mom actually went out and Baught this car a few weeks after I came home with the charger
