Hi, my name is Zach. I am a fossil hunter, scuba diver, nature enthusiast and collector of ancient objects. Come along on amazing fossil recovery adventures. The heated debate on where Megalodon fits taxonomically never ends 😊. Some paleontologists think the Megalodon is in the genus Carcharodon and is the ancestor of the Great White Shark, but to most scientists they're related, but not enough to be in the same genus or family.

Thank you so much for your feedback and for watching. My father was interested in fossils and introduced me to Florida's rivers and fossil sites as a boy. I actively read about fossils and their identifications daily. I really enjoy learning about these ancient animals and being able to identify their bones and teeth properly.

Super cool and a lot of them, damn! Just one question. What if you encounter a shark, no matter which one, and what do you do to stay calm? Because it seems super cool to go diving and look for these big teeth, but also quite scary at the same time if you encounter a shark.

I remember I found an inch tooth and didn’t think much of it and the next day it turned bright orange! The colors of every tooth are just beautiful
