This is not the same Checo that performed some magic while driving for Force India. It's like the troubled Vettel that drove for Ferrari.

It is easy to judge based on what we see but what we don't do is feel what the car is doing. I think the Stewards are correct. That said... I agree for the rest with what you say about Checo. As a Red Bull fan I am baffled by their decision to keep him on. Meanwhile there is talks about Daniel, who is not doing well but is at least not wrecking cars, to lose his seat to Lawson as soon as maybe even next race. Don't get me wrong, I want to see Lawson in F1, be it at a Bulls team or somewhere else but I had rather seen they promote Yuki and put Liam in his seat. Liam won't do worse than Yuki (who had terrible terrible luckthe past races) and Yuki won't do worse than Checo (probably better) I am however an F1 fan first and foremost and in that regard... yes, I agree... thanks to the minister of stupid moves, this season is a lot more exciting than it should have been.

also i saw a top down view of the incident. and if you follow the white dotted line they both were drifting too the left but seints just moved over a bit too fast and took checo out.

I don’t know man, buxtons right tho. McLaren is fucking with *their* championship with not focusing in on their #1 and #2 driver. I think this goes beyond piastri up and coming and Norris bottling starts. Clearly there is a disconnect between the pitwall and the drives out on track, I mean McLaren is always asking what the fuck is happening out there. I genuinely think who is at the helm at McLaren calling those shots (or the lack of the calls) is not locked in. Buxtons right, regardless of nationality, this is Norris’ fight to take to max, he has the points. If the team wanted piastri to take it to max, then they needed to outline that clearly at the beginning of the year. Papaya rules means fuck all midway through the year and points matter so much more now that the title is within reach. Man, just so stupid of McLaren and I’m not even that big of a fan of them, just kind of wild from the outside looking in seeing how inept they are at seeing the big picture.

i feel like by now looking at the season so far, this vid is slightly bullshit cus hamiltons still doing good and most of the points u said are irrelavent, sainz won once cus of a dnf, eveyone else beat max cus the car wasnt good enough. leclerc and hamilton are the only drivers other than lando in a rocketship and max who had a rocket ship, to win more than 1nce this season.

I agree with most of this. For me, the benchmark of greatest driver has to be: can he win without the best car? Clark, Fangio, Senna, Schumi, yes. So far the answer with Lewis is no.
