Really appreciate the detailed video! Quick question. I have the IC40 and everything is working fine with the chlorine. All of the indicator lights are working fine except the low(red) salt light. This one stopped working completely. Any solution to this over than replacing the entire unit?

Do you have a link for the large bin you use to dump the acid waste?

You should have sold them on a deck pressure washing immediately after dumping the chem in the pool. Odds are someone will get paid to clean that deck and make a mess out of the pool. You could even sub the deck cleaning work out to someone else for $50, easy money for a 5 min phone call.

That is a dangerous method for removing the filter.

I don’t understand why you need to have water flow through a dummy plug to test your intellichlor. As long as you have power at the cell your testing and press the flow switch, shouldn’t that be enough? Why do you have to turn on the pool pump?

he has no idea what hes doing he damaging pool.you dont need clorine just call real pool guy, you only first need a shock not much brush walls and leave it next day all algie on floor than vac floor, add new sand will make pool super clear than you drop few tablets of clorine in system not in pool. just check ph is good.

What were you adding into the skimmer at 26:45? I thought you're suppose to avoid going directly into it with the chems? or is it that wrong?

What net are you using? I've got a fairly crappy one I'd like to replace :) Not sure I need a carbon fiber pole but some heatshrink to keep it from scraping is a good idea! Ever used one of those whaletail looking attachments on the brush to force it against the sides of the pool?

A video on finding leaks and patching would be good along with maybe demonstrating a bucket test. Seems I have a leak and will be having a team out having failed the bucket test. Hoping it's just jets or something easy! Sadly I think I'm likely out of your general service area but I'm keeping you in mind :)

Nice trick for siphoning. You should use granulated/powdered Bromine to create the bromine bank (residual), though. It would take time for the tablets to dissolve to create that.

Great video! I first filled the Salt Cell with just water, to see how much cleaning solution I would need to prepare. Also, the solution should not be poured too fast because it bubbles and may overflow.

This siphoning works because of “gravity”, but you must remember that in order for you to keep a continuous flow of water going that the end of the hose MUST be LOWER than the vacuum head and/or the end of the hose that is in the water!!! So, in other words, if the output end of the hose is lifted higher than the suction end of the hose you will lose prime and your gravity siphon pump will not work anymore until you re-prime it and get it flowing again!!!
