Really enjoyed the video. Great High def clips of my favorite part of Long Island Sound.. I have always wanted to take the Ferry over to Orient Point explore Eastern LI and travel & back. From the looks of your video this can be done in 1 day. I live in south Central Mass but have never traveled to Pachaug St Forest though looks like its not far from me.
I did a short, spur of the moment day trip, but would have loved to take 2-3 and wander! The ferry is about 1h30 each way. Looking forward to coming back up this fall.
can I make a suggestion when riding on ground that might be a little loose with obstacles that might upset you like what happened try standing up you can see better and balance better moving your weught aft and fro it just a suggestion safe riding

Hey there- no, or at least not yet! Did you have it lit right from the start or after some miles? Can you clear it? If so, does it return?
@@sendcleanpants it wasn't on previously. And it's running fine. I've only done 150-250km since changing it over. Came on today...

Clean Pants! Loved the Video! If you weren't on the right side of the road, I would of assumed England... seeing that's where most of the RE reviews hail from. Original from Manchester, Connecticut for 48 years( myself), you have some of the best riding roads and back roads in the country and the scenery is impeccable. New London rich in history was a whaling capital in the late 1700,s. Montauk fishing is at the End of Long Island and Block island, Martha's vineyard, and Original Cape Cod up around the corner. Elated to see the RE in competent hands on beautiful scenic byways!

Thanks! I had a puncture and swapped in a Shinko 705. Been good so far- I don't have enough dirt around here to assess performance off-tarmac. Working on it.
Hey man, where did you pick up your BAAK? Trying to find one for my bike; I've seen a lot of good reviews.
I ordered it direct from them, but have since seen it drop off the site. After a few of these inquiries- I shot them a not and they say it will be coming back. Mine was about 80 days from order to delivery. Reach out to them- they'll let you know if/when its avail. Too bad though- I absolutely love the thing!

Yeah I like the look plus it would be far away from my soft luggage,,but the holding bracket looks abit wimppy ,,I much prefer bridge engineering to hold my shiny new exhaust... Just looking again,,it has a look of an old BSA trails bike about it..
It feels a part of the bike to me already now. I love the sound and feel- and definitely agree that the single mounting bracket looks light. It is a sturdy piece of bar but I think should have been a triangle giving three mounting points. Don't think it is coming off though!

The sound is good
I'm really happy with it. Not overly loud, but has a definite personality. I particularly love the throaty rumble when you roll off the throttle at speed. The bike is even more fun than it was before!

Posted a vid of the ride across. There are some great scenic roads in Connecticut I never knew about. Ferry ride is cool- not sure how to secure the bike if the weather was funky!
