250ft Cell Tower Climb - DJI Osmo Action 4 on Ultra-Wide
Просмотров 3314 месяца назад
Today's work got me out to Paducah, Kentucky. Swapped out a radio at 250 feet up, but I thought would bring y'all along for the climb up. I'm using the DJI Osmo Action 4 on Ultra-Wide. I do have the original Osmo Action, but the field-of-view felt a little close. Also the Action 4 does pretty well with wind noise using just the camera. Check out the camera here: amzn.to/49p5wVr As an Amazon Ass...

White Balance: A Beginner's Guide to Perfecting Colors in Your Photos

White balance is one of those settings that sound completely foreign to a new photographer. We see it change the colors and the little icons for the sun and stuff, but what is it actually doing? We'll go over that and a little more in this beginner video. Links below are Amazon Affiliate links. Yeah, I get a commission out of it, but it is no additional cost to y'all. ISO - What is It and How to Use It
Просмотров 2282 года назад
What is ISO and how does it affect your photos? It's how sensitive your camera is to light. Our camera's ability to boost exposure without affecting the other main aspects of aperture and shutter speed provides us with a lot of flexibility while shooting. Be sure to check out the other two explanation videos if you missed those! Below is the gear I used to create this video. The links are affil...

Downtown Photo Walk - Plans Always Change, Roll with it!
Had to watch cause I forgot to press the release button on the bottom of my camera so when I tried to wind it back into the canister, it just ended up ripping my film in two 😂
Great video, thanks! I use my grandfather's EE3. Lovely pictures done with it
Questions concerning operating in modes. P choses aperture and shutter speed for the operator and A mode choses the shutter speed. For an intermediate photographer, how trustworthy is the X700 in making a good decision? What happens if I chose my own aperture vs. the one P selected?
This video really helped me operating the camera, but unfortunately when I went to get the pictures from the film I was told there are no photos on the roll.. I thought I did everything right but I guess not, do you know what could cause it?
Does anyone here ever encounter a problem where the advance lever got stuck in the middle of shooting? I have 2 rolls (expired but kept it in the fridge) that I used before during my trip. Load them just fine… took 3-5 photos… the camera off. And when I want to use the camera again on the next day, the advance lever stuck. I can’t move it so I ended up opening the back to see the problem but everything looks just fine? I thought something broke… and the batteries are fine as well. Or maybe I didn’t load the film correctly 🧐 because I didn’t check the rewind ring if it’s move along every time I push advance lever hmm…
turn the camera off*
Sorry for a late response, and I hope you were able to figure it out. Most of the time the advancing lever does not move because the film was already advanced from the last shot. After that last shot you took on your trip, you may have already advanced the film and it was ready to go the next day. Only thing I can think of is just to turn it on and take shot and see if it allows the advance lever to work again.
There’s just something special about the Minolta X-700. I have one, and it’s my go-to for film photography.
I’ve been using my Minolta X-700 for a while now, and I absolutely love it. It’s a fantastic camera that’s easy to learn and fun to shoot with.
Couple of tips - make sure film is winding. The film spool holder on left should turn as you wind on. It doesn’t in this video - clear sign film has not been loaded correctly. Also don’t stop at 48 with a 24 film. Traditionally there are always a couple more shots in it - just be gentle when winding on. When it won’t wind you’re done.
As far as the number of shots, you're probably right. I just like to be safe about it. For the left side winding, it did begin to wind with the wheel after the slack in the canister was taken out after a couple shots. Good looking out. 🤙
What do I do if my indicator does not advance to 1?
Hey man! Helpful video- even for the Pen EE. I bought mine for the same reason you mentioned actually!
Amazing!
Thanks man!
Love it!how awesome dji!have a good day!Shoot.-
Good explanation! Thanks
Thank you!
I had this laying around since my parents golden days. Will definitely try it out
I already like you because you are bald. Like me. And you have good charisma.
The advance lever will not advance film when I release the shutter?
How do you use a flash on this camera?
The series of numbers on the other side of the lens are flash guide numbers. A system not realy used any more.
Thank you so much for the video! I have just inherited from my dad so let’s see 🤞🏼
Please share tutorial
What do I do if my advance lever is stuck?
Thank u
if i’m using kodak gold 200 in a minolta x-700 and want to shoot outdoor sunny landscape pictures what should my iso be ?
The ISO should be set to whatever your film is. With Kodak Gold 200, then 200.
3 years later and ur still helpin us. thats preem, choom.
Regarding the focusing tip at the end; what does the little red dot between 4 and 8 on the DoF scale mean?
For people wondering what happens if you set it to P without selecting the smallest green aperture: nothing will happen, the exposures will be correct, the camera will override and correct your mistake ensuring you don't waste a shot, or 36.
Hi. If I have a lens without green lock and green 22 aperture, will it still work in program mode?
@@LizaBurenkova-v8q unfortunately not, as it doesn't have the Program mode coupling tab.
@@Wilma5532got it. Thanks
Long shot getting an answer but my Minolta xd5's mirror is stuck up is this a battery issue by chance?
This will be a long shot if it actually works as I am not familiar with the XD5. Looking at an online manual, it could still operate in "O" or "B" modes while on manual even with a low battery. Using those modes may get the mirror moving again. If not, see if a new battery would work. If not, may be a mechanical/electrical issue.
Thanks much appreciated
So does it matter if camera is turned off/on before rewinding film back into canister?
Hey @chrisb.422 , it does not matter. That system is entirely mechanical. 🤙
Thank you!
If the red tongue is not showing when i cover the lens, is that meant the sensor is not working?
Yes, I just got mine last week and took it to a camera store to get it repaired and cleaned. The guy told me the light has been mutilated this means people does this to take photos in low light without using flash. And he got it repaired. Before that the red tongue wasn’t showing and afterward it’s showing
my frame counter is at 23 even though i just put in a new roll of film. is this a problem?
Can this camera use outdate or cine film?
yes, you can change the iso according to the film you use
It looks like author is experienced Nikon user. So I would like to ask if there any problems with video on z nikon cameras. Like flickering or smth like that. I am intrested in z30 for casual photos and videos. And would like to know if there is some serious cons for it real usecases. I have to admit I very like image quality at that video.
Mine has three ‘distance settings’ marked on the side of the inner barrel - mountains, 3 tall people, a nicely cropped portrait head shot. Didn’t hear you mention that. Good rundown on an odd little camera.
Oops, mine is just an EE not an EE-3.
I have the ee2 & also has the mountains, 3 people, & the portrait mode
To my knowledge the one with focus selector is the s version, ees and ees2
Cameras do look nice on the inside. So clean.
I lucked out with this one. The previous owner took great care of it.
Thanks 😊
Thanks homie
Thank you for this video!
Hello, I have a small issue with my Minolta x700. The speed displayed in the viewfinder is always very low in "Aperture priority" or "manual" mode. However, if I switch to "program mode" without placing the zoom in the "program mode" notch, the displayed speed is higher and seems more consistent. I admit to being a bit confused. Thanks for your help. Ps: I love your videos
So helpful! I'm currently in a film photography class and have this camera, it's my first time using this camera because I want to take photos while I'm on winter break and couldn't figure out how to use the light meter. I know understand so much better. Thank you!
What does the piece you pulled up do?
It changes the aperture
Bit late but ok@@maxwellgodwin6571
very helpful! thank you so much!
thank you! so clear and informative and easy to understand! Im learning how to shoot film on an SLR and this is super helpful.
Thank you for this video! Do you have pictures that you took using the Aperture focus setting? Please make a video on it and i would love to see the result! 🤩🤩🤩
Definitely has been very useful. I used this camera some months ago and it turned out that all the taken photos has a lot of noise because I selected the wrong settings in the selector. Thanks a lot for the explanation
SO HELPFUL THANK YOUUUUUU
Solid. Short, and to the point. Perfectly done.
Do you know what I could do or anyone who can fix broken light meters? I have this camera and I really like it but the light meter is broken.
The iso clip on the back let you rip off the portion of the film box with the film info, and slide it in as a reminder of what film is loaded. This my first camera and I loved it.
