Thankyou for the instructional video. In your opinion could a oil leak onto the spark plugs cause misfires ?. I have a p0302 code, and have tried changing spark plugs, coils, fuel pump and fuel filter, fuel regulator, cleaned the MAF but the code keeps reappearing. Changing intank fuel regulator has deceased the petrol consumption although the spark plug still have a some oil on it (guessing cover gasket), the misfires seem to lessen when engine is upto temperature. I'm a amateur and learning to diy issues with my vehicle, thanks again 👍

It's kind of odd that that's a pretty new looking gasket that was on there, and it was leaking like that. I think the new blue ones are mostly silicone, but I'm not sure. They don't dry rot as much but that's not a good sign. Looks like it was already replaced.

Thank you thank you thank you I was thinking it was a fuel pump issue. I’ve been driving for two months without changing the embarrassment when the Grand Prix would shut off at a red light I had to rev rev each crank this was super simple thank you again

Nice video, but for all of you first timers out there, he failed to show cleaning around the timing cover fits around the timing cover. This area has to be cleaned and a small amount of form-a gasket on both sides of valve cover or you will have a LEAK. Too bad it took you a couple of hours to do what you thought was a really good job, to end up pulling it back apart to apply about a 1/2 of sealant. Hope this helps!

I just bought a 06 XC70 and the engine turns on and it seems like it wants to stall. I replaced the MAF, changed the spark plugs now my next thing would be fuel filter then Throttle body. Thanks for the video on how to replace it.

Just had a 2017 MX-5 start throwing this code today, which was very cold. I'm hoping it fixes itself when things warm up.

Good video showed to the old man were gonna tackle this today. Should we use any sealent on the gasket or just torque it real good? Have one of our spark plugs getting oil in its hole just one plug figured this it.

i have had an impossibl;e time trying to figure out the differance betweeen awd and 4wd when is comes to escapes. mine says 4wd but doesn't have a 4wd light/ shifter/ switch/ anything. you know where i can find info on this? i need a transmission, they are all 6f35's but some shifters have p.n.d.r.L. and some p.n.d.r.1.2. so i am sure the linkage must be different. perhaps i am overthinking it.

After putting a new cluster must I program it to match the immobilizer; Because I have heard that if you don't , the oil and battery lights might be turning on without reason .

My 2007 Grand Prix gt would start but would fall dead if I didn't press the gas. My buddy unplugged the purge valve and started it right up. I went and had it checked and it gave me the P0443 code. My question is would this make the car fall dead after it warms up? Thanks for any advice.

You can put a paper gasket. On the stud bolt befor. Tighten down lug nut. It keeps from the lug nut from seasoning up. Keeps the rust separated. Fro the wheel. And lug nut
