Thanks for this video. We’ve got a Delonghi Radia 12 fin oil heater radiator. Didn’t even have to take the wheels off. 2 screws on the base beside the wheels. Took under a minute to ‘fix’ it with the reset switch. Why isn’t there a reset button on the outside of the heater? Well… we all know the answer to that, and it’s criminal! Good to know though - I’ll be looking out for ‘broken’ ones going cheap or thrown out on the street. Thanks again for posting this!

Thank you so much. It also works for Delonghi Radia S models as well. Saved me a trip to the shop for warranty activation. For those wondering if you contact Delonghi support they will tell you the reset procedure (as per the manual).

In my case I had corroded contact points, I brushed it slightly and cleaned with electro-contact spray and now locking mechanism works (before that I couldn´t lock the slide door, and then suddenly it locked and then I could´t unlock/ open it ) So if you manage to open it somehow (I tried unlocking it from inside there and back, there and back + locking and unlocking with remote key + push the middle left side of the slide door) try to clean both contact poins (on the car and slider door)

Man, how did you figure this out? This saved me at least £100, I was almost about to order a new one when our 6-year-old heater suddenly stopped taking power. It took 2 minutes to fix after watching this gem. The heater model is not even the same and I never realised you could open the front panel so easily. The fix works like magic!!

Good video but I couldn't find that button in my Delonghi dragon 3. I opened it and it looked same but that place is flat underneath. Only two wire connect with that round connector.

Thanks for this tip. Sadly, I had already bought 2 new radiators and was about to toss them into a skip but because of your video, I was was able to fix them and put them on freecycle. They found a second life with two new homes.🎉

I have noticed if i put the thermostat at say 5 and leave then turn down to a lower level, say 2, it will always click on/off at 3.5 lewel. Seems like it will not heat past 3.5 on the thermostat. Dragon 4
