One of my squad mates got hurt doing one of these obstacle courses when we were in basic training. He was one of the fittest in our platoon. He fell on his head and got permanent brain damage.

My TI asked everybody who was afraid and a bunch of dummies raised their hands smh... I didn't buy I have severe acrophobia. I KNEW he was gonna make all them go first! So when it was my turn to come down the tower on the knotted rope, I close my eyes and jumped! Worst rope burn EVER in 100 degree Texas heat 😩 burnt my hands on the over/under after that. I finally fell on the last water obstacle. My were too swollen to catch a swinging rope after crawling across one. Horrible good times 😅😅
